Coaster Crazy Deluxe arrived on the Wii U eShop in North America and Europe this week, the first download title from Frontier since the popular LostWinds and LostWinds: Winter of the Melodias on WiiWare. The development studio does have plenty of experience in theme park settings and games, however, perhaps best known for Rollercoaster Tycoon 3.
We're currently building rollercoasters to amuse the "crazies" for our upcoming review; this title promises plenty of challenges, online leaderboards and easy-to-use building tools. We now have the chance to hear more straight from the developer, however, with Nintendo UK chatting to producer Adam Woods about the game and its various GamePad control options. If you want to know how to throw the Crazies out of the Coaster or make them throw up, Woods has all the answers.
Check it out below and let us know what you think.

Interesting concept.
I just might pick this up at some point. When I was little the Roller Coaster Tycoon series was among my top favorites, so maybe this will revitalize those memories.
Hey the panoramaview on the gamepad rocks!
wow this wasn't even on my radar until this video
I gotta be honest; the concept of a roller coaster simulator has never seemed like something remotely fun as a video game to me. I like the graphical style, but the concept screams "smartphone game" to me for some reason. :/
THE PC games are comminG!!!!!!!! GET READY!!! I want Age of Empire on my U.
I've really enjoyed this game as I'm a huge fan of roller coaster tycoon 3, it's actually challenging to please all the set goals and it has a sandbox mode so I'll be spending some time making some roller coasters on my Wii U now
Might have to get this game just to throw people out of RollerCoasters.
This is no rollercoaster tycoon
Looks like a cool little game from David Braben & co.
I hope they and Nintendo will fix the Lost Winds transfer issues from Wii to Wii U. It's disappointing that it still hasn't been fixed and one year has already passed. They must have people that could be dedicated to the issue since seems not everyone is working on the Elite: Dangerous project.
Cheers for posting that video I'm gonna download it now. Although I have heard there are issues with the game on miiverse but not sure what the bugs are
@ricklongo Thats because coaster crazy is a smartphone game...
@Marshi I obviously didn't know that. I meant that, at first glance, the experience seems to be kind of shallow. Of course, I won't know exactly until I actually play one of those, but the first impression doesn't help.
I'm interested.
I'll be downloading this as soon as I can
@Mrclaycoat "wow this wasn't even on my radar until this video"
The video piqued my interest, but I'm still not comfortable with the price point.
I nearly bought this the other day but I'm concerned this is the new wii u shovel ware coming out. There's no real game to it and it seems to just be aimed at killing a few mins rather than providing an actual experience.
Hey Nintendo, how's about creating Theme Park HD U? Now THAT would be a great game!
