Strangely I'm of the opinion that the GBA games were the bee's knees in comparison to Awakening. Wasn't a fan of making the tactician a playable character, or the strange camp shenanigans which led to the in between battles class elements of Three Houses.
Sounds like a good idea, but a week is nowhere near long enough like many say. Also it might be a good idea to include games that are on sale that week, gives people a chance who haven't got the game to get involved by buying a discounted version.
In the trailer they did show the same long grass as was seen in PLA, so I do feel the sneaking/catching elements will remain as they are so good. However now for aggressive Pokemon instead of attacking and damaging the character, there will just be a transition into a battle.
I went with Triangle Strategy but I will definitely be getting Advance Wars and Sparks of Hope too. A new Fire Emblem would be nice but I would like them to ditch the hub world, I got really bored of running around the castle.
Pokemon Unite - 118 hours Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition - 114 hours Shin Megami Tensei V - 40 hours
Crazy numbers for Unite, at most I used to play it for about an hour a day, not touched it for a while now too. The drop off to 3rd place seems off as well.
I might be a dinosaur but I can't really see what quirky ideas Nintendo can come up with. The hybrid concept is pretty much perfect to keep both handheld and home console lovers happy.
Just improve on the Switch, make it stronger, make it backwards compatible and make it easy to transfer your purchased games/online services across and I'll be a happy bunny.
Was waiting for a NL review for this, so I am glad it is now up and gave it a good 8. I played the demo and enjoyed it but will still hold off on getting it until it comes down in price. Doesn't help also that SMTV and PBDSP are launching imminently.
Just completed a Nuzlocke run of Pokemon Shield (not blind) and lost just one of the team in the Championship battle with Leon, so pretty chuffed with myself.
Not really sure what to get stuck into now. Do have Dex, Child of Light and Mark of the Ninja: Remastered from a sale barely started, so maybe one of them.

Some milk I spilled when I saw the price,
my bank balance just won't suffice.

Re: Yes, Hogwarts Legacy Really Is Coming To The Nintendo Switch
Exciting news but I can't be confident in saying it will look or run anywhere near good enough on the Switch. Here's hoping I get proved wrong.

Re: Video: The GameCube Is Over 20 Years Old, And Blimey Do We Have Memories Of It
Love it. So many fond memories, including using the GBA player to play Pokemon and Fire Emblem games on the big screen.
A shout out to the amazing Skies of Arcadia Legends and two Lost Kingdoms games among many others.

That Wind Waker one. Yum.
Re: Nintendo Is Adding Paper Mario 64 To Switch Online's Expansion Pack, Out Next Week
As much as I love Paper Mario, I'm still going to wait for more big hitters before I give Nintendo my subscription money.
1 game in two months seems stingy. At least add another SNES game, 2 NES games and 2 Megardrive games to round off the year.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (November 13th)
I'm not hanging around, tucking into Shin Megami Tensei V right this moment. Not sure why but Hard mode it is! I might live to regret that decision.
Happy gaming everyone.

Re: Review: Shin Megami Tensei V - The Best Entry Yet In This Dark, Engrossing RPG Series
Looking forward to picking this up. It will be my first Shin Megami Tensei game so I don't have a clue what to expect.
Re: Nintendo Reconfirms Release Windows For Major Upcoming Switch Games
I'll be getting all of them but Splatoon 3 and the Big Brain thing. A very big hitting and expensive 2022 for me then.
Re: Random: Nintendo's Switch Online 'Expansion Pack' Trailer Is Now Its Most Disliked YouTube Video Ever
The service as it is at the moment is not worth it to me. Add a dozen more N64 games and then I'm in.
