@wutadam i feel like by your description, Sports Club was a failed attempt of what could've been great and now i kinda see why they wouldn't try it again. i just wish we had stuff from the original game like the training mini-games, boxing and baseball, and that iconic music. but i do appreciate some of the new things in Switch Sports, so it's a mixed bag. (sorry for replying so late, i didn't see this notification)

i vote baseball. it was really fun to play on the Wii, and so simple. i know some might want more control on certain things, but i think it is great how it is. i also would like archery and frisbee. canoeing could be fun too. just something exciting, fresh and new with interesting graphics and a light workout would be fine for me.

@wutadam its fine about the necroreply, and how is wii sports club worse than switch sports? or did you mean to say that it's better than switch sports? i never got to play it so just curious.

i just hope we get a bunch of DLC and good games and sequels

I wish you could get a physical copy without having to get the leg strap. I already have Ring Fit Adventure and I don't want to pay extra for something I will not use. I don't want digital either because it'll take up space.

@Vyacheslav333 How would Switch Sports be played handheld? It would be the most boring thing ever if you just play tennis with a joystick and buttons, especially this series that's known for motion control.

@Bret I really do think golf and maybe another sport are the only free things we'll get.

@SmashFan347 there are always going to be some people (like me) who will buy just because it is 'wii sports on switch' but the tennis, chambara and bowling look pretty good. i still really want boxing and baseball though.

Overall, it's still a buy from me and the DLC suggestion I mentioned would be a 100% buy. I'm just here for tennis and bowling, everything else is an add on.

They NEED a DLC with all of the Sports Resort games (and I would say boxing but that just needs to come in an update [will they even add it now since there is Fitness Boxing??]). They could even have a little cutscene where the character discovers Wahu Island and a bunch of new sports and brings them back to Spocco Square to share with all the members.

I panicked so much when I saw all these reviews of Switch Sports online, because I thought it has been already released. Reading this brought me peace of mind.

@SMUGSLOTH69 if you liked tennis then, you'll like tennis now. it was fun for me in the play test, and tennis was my favorite on the original Wii Sports.

@2ruffles right. switch sports was great but it wasn't bringing enough nostalgia, and i understand some people don't like miis but they were PERFECT for the sports series and Nintendo needs to start listening. the wii sports music should've been a direct transfer and the UI should've been similar. honestly i would be happy with a direct port of wii sports with HD graphics..

@Banjo- Players have been waiting for this for way too long, it was time they announced it especially after the Switch surpassing Wii sales. And since they announced it, I guess they didn't want to make us wait too long(??) Honestly I have no idea.

@jonky it is my dream too, maybe they can literally just make a direct port of wii sports with updated graphics and UI and then we can all be happy.🤪

with the mario kart DLC being added, it becomes a little less of a outrageous price, but still a little high

I already have online and I already have the DLC so paying 50 dollars for 30 games on consoles I've never used are not worth it at all. I could consider if they made it something like each console emulator is +5 dollars but this is a bit crazy.

I hate that there's no volume control in-game. The sound of water and walking is SO LOUD. I wish I could turn up the music and turn down everything else to a low but still audible level. So what ends up happening is I play with no sound and miss a lot of the great music in game.

@SuperZeldaFun I agree (post #17), but why did Nintendo have to take it down? Nintendo does have the right to take it down, but there's no income from this (except maybe video monetization).

Amazing game, but I desperately wish we could have placed things on the wall partitions. : (

@k8sMum I do the same thing, it's very satisfying to have a pretty house and although I wanted to unlock the DLC features, I needed to make the houses good. I haven't actually really played since I got the last feature (Room Sketch) though

the Wii and Wii U, along with the Switch are the only consoles I've ever owned, so I'm probably biased, but I love the Wii U so much. It's a Wii and a Wii U in one system, and it's amazing. Although the Switch has a better game library and obviously better graphics, the Wii was iconic, and although it flopped, the Wii U made it better. So I'm very sad that the Switch sales surpassed, even though it was inevitable. (And yes, I did play mostly Wii Sports on my Wii. It's a great game.)
