I might be reading this differently, but it's sort of cool that there's passionate nintendo-fans at Ubisoft I think Watchdogs Wii U will be a meisterstück driven by passion.

Wow, this must run deeper than sales and installed base. I'd love to know why. Suppliers just don't try to create a duopoly without something bigger forcing it.

@AcesHigh73 Yes, gamepad support in wii mode would be great ... it's currently impossible to start a wii game when the Wiimote is inside the Guitar Hero or DJ Hero controller because you have to point at the screen.

@FullbringIchigo I really want mass effect 3, but it's disc only. I'll eventually cave in and buy a copy, but I'm stil hoping it suddenly appears on the sShop

I was pleasantly surprised at the game experience of AC3 and AC4, I though modern games wasn't even close to the story telling of text adventures. I feel more badly about Ubisofts decision now than before the sale I also plan on buying Watch Dogs. ... it will take me at least a year until I complete all of them. In addition I also have Child of Light, Rayman Legends, Splinter Cell Blacklist, Your Shape Fitness Evolved and ZombiU to play. If Ubisoft doesn't reconsider before 2016, I'll consider getting another device for modern AAA adventure games or se if someone else has a good release out.

The Nano assault games are good shooters on both Wii U and 3DS. My favorite is the 3DS version, but i play the wii u version more frequently for some quick fun. Get both !

Funny thing, I looked at Zombi U yesterday. It's allready a pretty awesome deal, now I absolutely need to get it.

I'll buy Bayonetta 2, Watch Dogs and probably Sonic Boom too and maybe Super Smash Bros with a bunch of figures.

The cost of the console is fine, it's the perception of how awesome value it really is that needs to change.

The game needs to be extremely awesome if it's a physical release. Mass effect 3 has been on my, 'get around to, someday soon'-list forewer. meanwhile i have two slots left on my fourth screen with dowloaded stuff.

There's something wrong with the scrolling.

Personally I would have preferred something like the Scratch language for the Wii U.

It's missing some awesomeness.

I only get digital copies on Wii U when possible, although I do have Disney Infinity on disc because there's no other option (And I'll get Mass Effect 3 one day, just hesitating because it's on disc).

Removing Kinect is a mistake, now the xbox is just an overpriced 360 with a lot less games.

Tye gamepad is awesome, not only a second screen but it could make it possible to deliver games previously only found on PCs.

The wii u is awesome. I might get a pc game when sid meyers beyond earth game is released.

I need three things from consoles: 1. The exact same gaming experience the game designers intended. 2. Pick up and play. 3. Extremely playable, tested and tuned experience. (If i'm going to invest $10000 worth of time, it doesn't matter if the game is $1 or $100 as long as it deliveres. )

I have the green luigi and it's my favorite, although for some games the old white with motion plus add on has more presence.

I'ts cool that the do a proper adaptation to the wii u rather than a straight port. I'm looking forward to it and holding out for the wii u version. Awesome gameplay is worth a lot more than slightly better graphics.

I read the charts as "more than 25 percent of developers with real budgets has Wii U plans".

I liked sonic adventure on the dreamcast, so this might be a really fun game.

@sdcazares1980 Consumers without options are more likely not to buy at all. Most PS4 and XBox gamers buyers allready know they like gaming, without nintendo portions of the market will just drain away over time especially if the Sony boss knows that people who play Candy Crush on iOS doesn't feel naturally compelled to buy a PS4 and get Killzone.

I think getting into health is a really smart and a good long-term strategy. Looking forward to playing mario kart while the nintendo elysium-device improves my health.

I do hope that nintendo continue to produce gaming platforms, since they're the most innovative company out there.

I spent 30+ hours playing sonic all stars racing transformed on the wii u this week, awesome game. Hope to see more SEGA games on the wii u.

The Wii U will play out the same as the Wii for me. 1. Buy the console early. 2. Wait for games and get cool ones as soon as they get out. 3. Saturate collection with too much to play (I'm almost there with the wii u) 4. Suddenly years has passed and a new console is out. 5. Goto 1

Aggregated use in my family beats the original Wii, but that's due to the second screen and Netflix / Youtube.

One benefit of this release is that the gamepad feels closer to an Arcade stick when user on a table giving an ok rate of fire. I never got around to buying one of the proper fighting sticks for the wii.

My impression is that the Wii U console sales might be accelerating because a few of stores are sold out and waiting for a massive re-supply.

Retail is dying, except for disney infinity, skylanders and games purchased as presents.

My favorite sonic game is actially Sonic Adventure for the dreamcast.

This is cool, I'll consider getting Fit Meters for the kids too if it's possible to gamify some outdoor activities.

The guys on the picture could have been scary to meet in a dark alley, but now they're all home playing GTA and having some harmless fun.

This looks cool, not sure how well it would work with Starcraft or Civilization V. Those games should have been ported to the Wii U anyway.

I think it offers excellent value for money, alhough i would recommend either the villains or sidekick sets to play local split screen co-op through the adventures.

The ps4 and xbox one will be released and the games will be pretty much the same as the last two generations. The most interresting proposition is the xbox one, with the camera as default and a high emphasis on social and entertainment. It might become more popular than a wii u + wii u fit with balance board ... and that's one million girlfriends jumping around the living rooms around the globe.

I think the 3ds gift was awesome and totally exceptional. No expectations of a repeat. It would be cool if nintendo surprised us again, but not necessarily for a reason or restricted to some special group. i d on't regret getting the wii u early because me and my family has enjoyed it for hundreds of hours.

The younger segment doesn't have large enough pockets to fit a 3ds anyway, so why not. Nintendo goes a bit nuts occationally, but thats the price of creative awesomness Cool item which will find it's audience.
