As someone who bought a Wii U the week Smash Bros Wii U came out, I can remember a fun few months of playing of playing games like Mario Kart 8 and Super Mario 3D World but the games drought was real and seeing first party games being released months apart showed how bad the third party developers have abandoned it.
I'm still waiting to see if Nintendo will leave system transfering alone since that requires a server check before transfering your game data to a new console.
Kinda surprised that they're starting from the third one instead of adding improvements and remastering the first one in the series unless there's something about RF3 that makes it the highlight of the series.
The NSO launched on September 2018 so I wouldn't be surprised if Nintendo announces more stuff for that service just to get people to renew their subscription.
The only two Japanese only Square RPG I can think of that could potentially get the western release treatment like Live a Live is Bahamut Lagoon and Treasure Hunter G so hopefully we're still getting more of this type of game for a little longer.
I wouldn't be surprised if the DS version is the only way to play the game and it won't be re-released or remade due to the cost of licensing the music again.
Will it carry over the games list from the first Mini Mega Drive or have an entirely new game list which means swapping the mini consoles depending on what you want to play?
Hopefully Snatcher will be one of the games on the list.
With this and the rise in people adding IPS backlit screens to their original GBAs, the motherboard will become more sought after. I wish there was a way to convert Gameboy Players to be a standalone GBA player without the Gamecube and boot disc.
Who's going to swoop in and pay up for the FIFA name if EA is still holding onto the teams and players? Are we going to have a FIFA game where they use team names like Menchaster United?
"In the future we will close all services related to the Wii Shop Channel, including the ability to redownload WiiWare and Virtual Console games, as well as the Wii System Transfer Tool, which transfers data from Wii to the Wii U system. We will announce specific details as that time approaches."
Considering the 3DS is also tied to using Nintendo's servers when doing a system transfer, it's going to suck if you want to transfer from a used 3DS to a newer one in the future.
Wonder if BotW re-entered the top 10 because of some special offer that I missed or people who received a Switch for Christmas buying their second or third game.
It's not common but some Japanese games actually have a full english option as well. Japanese Super Metroid, Super Smash Bros Melee and the DS Phoenix Wright series comes to mind.

I hope they announce something for the NSO since it’s around this time that a lot of people will decide to renew or not. GBA or Gamecube please?

Re: Random: Masahiro Sakurai Updated His Awesome Gaming Setup, Here's A Look
@EarthboundBenjy looks like it’s just a SNES Mini. Guess he likes the US library of games more than the Super Famicom Mini.
Re: Exclusive: 'SunnySide' Fixes A Very Specific Farming Game Problem
@bubicus you reminded me that every farming sim has you start with a watering can and the ultimate watering tool is… a sprinkler.
Surely there must be a farm sim game where you can build a watering system with pipes and a water pump to water a crop as the last upgradable tool.

@Dr_Lugae if Konami's eFootball botched release this year is anything to go by, I don't think EA has anything to worry about.
