Wonder what happened to MK8 Deluxe for it to drop out of the top 10? Too many people already own it or not enough Switch consoles on sale for people to add Mario Kart as their first game?
For a brief moment, I thought they found a way to produce cheap 64DD devices to attach to the bottom of the N64. This storage unit is something I expected from Mad Katz during the 90's.
Nintendo might not be making 3DS software or hardware anymore but I think the console is really finished when they pull the plug on the eShop and all the VC games are no longer available.
Every 2DS XL sold is still covered under warranty so as long as Nintendo still fixes them or replaces them, then that's probably Nintendo's definition of supporting the 3DS.
The time for new 3DS games has long sailed but I think to me the 3DS is dead when they shut the eShop servers down.
Hope they announce Metal Gear Solid or Resident Evil for it as well in the upcoming days. As for my predictions on the other games, I think Parappa the Rapper, Medievil and Wipeout are probably the safe bets since they're developed by Sony.
I'm guessing these are wave one because there's no way they forgot first party characters from God of War, Uncharted, Patapon, Loco Roco, Ape Escape and Ico.
They could even use the Sly Cooper, Jak & Daxtar, Ratchet and Clank to add more.
And then work with third party to get Lara Croft, Final Fantasy 7-9 characters, Jill/Chris from Resident Evil , Solid Snake or even the Persona characters since they seem to be the games that people associate with Playstation.
Only felt like yesterday when I backed this. Can't believe it's been 3 years since. I feel sorry for the people who backed the 360/PS3 version which they had to cancel but since it only made up 1% of the backers then I guess they had to make that decision.
I remember buying Nintendo Official Magazine, the predecessor to ONM and when I picked it up and re-read it, I knew something wasn't right when third party publishers took out full page advertisements for games such as Blues Brothers 64 which NOM gave an 80% while most other magazines were giving it poor reviews.
Stopped buying it and went for "N64/NGC Magazine" instead.
For under £13 I snapped up Super Metroid, Link to the Past, SMB3, Kirby's Adventure and Earthbound. Here's hoping that Nintendo's next console allows us to transfer these over without paying a transfer fee.
Off topic but the more I play the castle part in Fates, the more I realise that this is probably a taster of the mobile Fire Emblem game for phones. Feeding Lillith, harvesting beans, defending the castle etc.

Re: Ubisoft Working On Multiple Animated Shows Inspired By Its Existing Video Game IP
Surprised they didn't push for a Rabbids cartoon series for a quick cash in.
Re: Saber Interactive Details The Difficulties In Bringing Back Ghostbusters: The Video Game
I'm surprised that a game just developed 10 years ago is still victim to missing source code when it comes to porting and remastering.

I wouldn't be surprised if they just slap the Toys R Us name on cheap toys (dolls, building blocks, rip off lego) and sell them in supermarkets.

@Frank90 Wouldn't making more copies defeat the purpose of calling it "limited edition"?
