I personally love the art style. A lot of games are going for the hand drawn look nowadays. I welcome that! There’s was a glut of pixel art indie games that just seemed so redundant and uninspired. This looks absolutely gorgeous!
As for the new character, it’s clearly going to be someone with robotics. Probably the “heavy” of the group. I did notice something too. There could possibly be a 5th character hidden in that title screen. If you look above Blaze’s head there seems to be a silhouette that’s cropped by the screen edge...
I picked this game up and I'm very happy with my purchase. The complaints about the Wii remote control are understandable but they might not have given it enough time to learn it. Honestly it's my preferred play control. The other tip I can offer is don't treat the gun like a traditional FPS weapon. If you hold the trigger down it fires continuously and doesn't run out of ammo. Think of it like a light saber. If you shoot off to the side of a player just hold down the trigger and re-aim and then SWAP! There is a lot of fun to be had with this game. Take the time to learn its play style and it might earn a spot in your game night rotation.
This pleases me! I have yet to buy any of the VC games so having them in a set is perfect for me! I like bundles like this, and it doesn't hurt that I have the Mega Man Amiibo too!
I've been curious about this game. I became a fan of Giana Sisters since the DS game and was hoping to see Twisted Dreams on a Nintendo console. How is this game?
I have the DS collection and i liked it a lot! i'm sad that there was no Sonic CD on it because that and 3 were the only ones of the classic sonic games i never got to play.
here's my little list: the rest of the Sonic series, Golden Axe, Comix Zone, Street of Rage series, Ecco the Dolphin, Sparkster, DJ Boy (yeah, not sega, but I like it), Splatterhouse (again, not sega but a fave), Shining force, and lots more that escape my memory. get on it SEGA
If you didn't get it when it launched now is a great time to get Urban Trial Freestyle! very fun, highly recommended!
#1, do you have any world records? I have the record for the second long jump trick of the first track in the first world.
@DESS-M-8 you are correct, I haven't played Shinobi 3. I also haven't played Streets of Rage 1, but as i am a bigger fan of Street of Rage i have to side with that over Shinobi. However, I did scope out some gameplay and Shinobi looks awesome! I change my vote to Streets of Rage and Shinobi III
I love and collect old portable games (LCD and LED). I have a small collection of watch games: Super Mario World, Star Fox, Donkey Kong, Jurassic Park, Tetris, and Legend of Zelda. All in working order. Personally I love the novelty and nostalgia attached to these games. I want to add to my collection so if anyone would like to negotiate a sale feel free contact me.
oh wow! thanx. I"ll make sure to never do that from now on, lol! also, I so wished there was a boss fight that involved the LOLA (the vehicle) like there was one for the RAD.
so we aren't including Faceball 2000 as a FPS for the GBC, or is this the only GBC exclusive FPS? Also, I want Faceball 2000 on the VC with download play. make it happen NINTENDO!
I have this on the GBC in the form of Super Mario Bros. Deluxe, and I still haven't beaten it. Maybe with the help of restore points I'll finally be able to end it!
I haven't read all the comments so forgive me if this was already brought up, but talking about a user account, why not beef up clubnintendo?
many of us have our accounts connected to our 3DS which keeps track of our eShop purchases already. with some work i think club nintendo could be a hub for players, their games, and their systems. if you lose your system due to damage, you could register the new system on clubnintendo and all your downloads would be made available for redownload.
ok, I'm interested. I loved my LCD games in the past (still have a few) and this just collects them in one handy spot. also, i hope the "shadow" images of the LCD display aren't as defined as in this video, it was kinda confusing in the Kung-Fu Hero game...
I got this game over the weekend and I have to say that I'm loving it! I like F-Zero, and this does lack the depth of even the first game on the SNES, but it is none the less fun. What keeps me coming back is the leader board and the chance to rank among the top players across the globe.
I think #6 is right. the first time I played Mario Tennis with my friend it took a while to load (as usual), but the next time we played it was MUCH faster to connect.
EDIT: I looked at the patent file and it says the patent was filed Sept. 12, 2011

Re: Cyber Gadget Unveils Gigantic Joystick Peripheral for 3DS XL
this would be cool for Street Fighter IV if they could get all the buttons on the right hand side like a real fighter stick.
and SigourneyBeaver, WINNER!

looks fun for just $2

Re: 3D Ecco The Dolphin
this game was HARD!
when are we (US) getting these super cool games?!
also, Joygame51, nice avatar. I loved that game.
Re: 3D Versions Of Shinobi III And Streets Of Rage Coming To 3DS eShop
By far Streets of Rage!
I was hoping SEGA would have released a collection on the DS like they did with Sonic, but this will do nicely
Re: Urban Trial Freestyle
I think I'll pick this up when I get off work. looks cool and the sale price is reasonable.
Re: Gabrielle's Ghostly Groove Mini
I'll wait for the review.

Re: Renegade Kid Open To Idea Of Moon Sequel
I would love a sequel to MOON, and a final chapter to Dementium. I'm totally excited about Cult County too!
Re: FEZ Creator Insists The Game Wouldn't Work On The 3DS
why does it even have to be in 3D? look at the VC on 3DS not all the classic games are in 3D. Excite Bike = 3D, Punchout = no 3D... FEZ on 3DS = not pointless!
