Re: New Trailer For Streets Of Rage 4 Teases A Fourth Character

spamineggs

I personally love the art style. A lot of games are going for the hand drawn look nowadays. I welcome that! There’s was a glut of pixel art indie games that just seemed so redundant and uninspired. This looks absolutely gorgeous!

As for the new character, it’s clearly going to be someone with robotics. Probably the “heavy” of the group. I did notice something too. There could possibly be a 5th character hidden in that title screen. If you look above Blaze’s head there seems to be a silhouette that’s cropped by the screen edge...

Re: Review: Swap Fire (Wii U eShop)

spamineggs

I picked this game up and I'm very happy with my purchase.
The complaints about the Wii remote control are understandable but they might not have given it enough time to learn it. Honestly it's my preferred play control.
The other tip I can offer is don't treat the gun like a traditional FPS weapon. If you hold the trigger down it fires continuously and doesn't run out of ammo. Think of it like a light saber. If you shoot off to the side of a player just hold down the trigger and re-aim and then SWAP!
There is a lot of fun to be had with this game. Take the time to learn its play style and it might earn a spot in your game night rotation.

here's my little list:
the rest of the Sonic series, Golden Axe, Comix Zone, Street of Rage series, Ecco the Dolphin, Sparkster, DJ Boy (yeah, not sega, but I like it), Splatterhouse (again, not sega but a fave), Shining force, and lots more that escape my memory. get on it SEGA

If you didn't get it when it launched now is a great time to get Urban Trial Freestyle! very fun, highly recommended!
#1, do you have any world records? I have the record for the second long jump trick of the first track in the first world.

awww... it's just a hyperactive "Tunnel" game. I was hoping for an actual racing sequel. the graphics are pretty tho.

Re: Feature: Nintendo Battle - Game Watch: Super Mario Bros. 3 vs. Star Fox

spamineggs

I love and collect old portable games (LCD and LED). I have a small collection of watch games: Super Mario World, Star Fox, Donkey Kong, Jurassic Park, Tetris, and Legend of Zelda. All in working order. Personally I love the novelty and nostalgia attached to these games. I want to add to my collection so if anyone would like to negotiate a sale feel free contact me.

Re: Talking Point: Nintendo Takes One Step Forward, One Back With Retail Downloads

I haven't read all the comments so forgive me if this was already brought up, but talking about a user account, why not beef up clubnintendo?

many of us have our accounts connected to our 3DS which keeps track of our eShop purchases already. with some work i think club nintendo could be a hub for players, their games, and their systems. if you lose your system due to damage, you could register the new system on clubnintendo and all your downloads would be made available for redownload.

Re: LCD Gaming is Resurrected in Retro Pocket on DSiWare

spamineggs

ok, I'm interested. I loved my LCD games in the past (still have a few) and this just collects them in one handy spot. also, i hope the "shadow" images of the LCD display aren't as defined as in this video, it was kinda confusing in the Kung-Fu Hero game...

Re: Review: VectorRacing (3DS eShop)

I got this game over the weekend and I have to say that I'm loving it! I like F-Zero, and this does lack the depth of even the first game on the SNES, but it is none the less fun. What keeps me coming back is the leader board and the chance to rank among the top players across the globe.
