@JayJ Exactly, and that’s why looking at the rise of streaming music and movies and comparing it to games isn’t something you can do at the moment on most places.

Of course, publishers love the streaming model as, like with digital games, there’s no second hand market so for all games sold he money goes to the publisher, and they control the prices more easily.

The bandwidth required for successfully streaming a non-interactive movie on Netflix is different to that required for streaming a game, as shown by the lack of success of OnLive and that other service the name of which I forget just now.

Plus internet goes down and you can’t play anything...yeah, no thanks.

Watching the videos it reminds me of Minisquadron on iOS which I loved...this has now been added to my “buy” list.

That’s pretty shoddy. They should be using original assets where possible!

From that perspective I’m really enjoying it on Switch, but I can totally see how anyone who hadn’t played it back in the day wouldn’t be impressed!

Absolutely agree, putting F2P elements into a paid game isn’t going to fly on Switch (I hope).

Levels+ is a really good example of how this kind of game can be designed properly for Nintendo’s console.

Only 2 years? Geez, I hope not...with the PS4 Pro and Xbox One X supporting 4K I’d hope for a bit longer. Haven’t even got a 4K TV yet so I plan on holding off upgrading consoles for a while.

Fingers crossed the appearance of Hulu means Netflix will be dropping soon too.

This looks really good. Many years ago my dad bought Chess on the Atari 2600, which had an option to let the computer think for 8 hours so you moved in the morning and then when you got back from work/school it had just taken its move 😳

@gaga64 I don’t think so. It sounds to me like a bug fix for times where, if the first player is close to the finish, the blue shell would ignore them and go for the second place player instead.

My other half put over 70 hours into this on PC (and that’s without even getting married) and she can’t wait for Thursday. Lucky she has her own Switch...

@holygeez03 Maybe it's just reminding people of an excellent game that's been given a free update! Jeez. Not everything is done for money, sometimes people actually just want to make sure people notice when a developer does something positive.

Oh now, you gotta explain what's going on with that Biohazard menu! It looks awesome...

@Nik-Davies I was initially disappointed as you were, when I couldn't put my Splatoon Activity Log badge on top of my default one. Then I found that the badge works like the icon when placed separately, so I just moved the default icon into a folder and use the Splatoon one instead
