Re: SNK Shares First Look At Fatal Fury: City Of The Wolves

I find it super funny how this thread is full of people horrified by the atrocities committed by Saudi billionaires while most likely still consuming from major companies from the US, Europe, etc., that without a doubt do things like employing almost slave labor in underdeveloped countries, pushing hard against worker rights at home, getting away with lots of corruption since they're so big they're essentially above the law, spending millions in lobbying to get regulatory agencies to give them a pass in destroying the planet for profit, etc.

Re: Feature: Fire Emblem Engage Devs On "Drastically Different" DLC And Characters "Living As The Person They Want To Be"

@BLD I disgaree. I've met plenty of people who have valid criticism to offer about games, but the way you stated it, using sentences such as "incomplete story with blatant inconsistencies between routes to bait fans into arguing about it online for 3 years" sounds more like hating than valid criticism to me. You're arguing as if you truly believe that the 3H story writers acted out of malice by purposefully delivering a story in a way carefully designed to manipulate the community. That's too cynical for my taste. I think the 3H story has issues but it's fine for the most part, and the enormous amount of fan engagement it generates to this day is because that game's story and characters resonate with people, make them invested, make them feel something; not because it was designed to "bait them."

Re: The First Review For Triangle Strategy Is Now In

@Juga Both Triangle Strategy demos were fantastic. I don't know what you were expecting when you started playing a demo for a story-heavy tactical RPG full of political intrigue. It's doing exactly what games like Final Fantasy Tactics, Tactics Ogre, and the Fire Emblem series do.

I hope people don't give too much credence to this "demo was boring" comment and decide for themselves. I had an absolute blast playing it.
