@Vyacheslav333 Most (if not all) recent SNK games have rollback now. KOF XV shipped with it, and they've added it retroactively to SamSho, KOF 2002 UM and KOF 98 UM. Now they're doing the same to KOF XIII.
@EriXz It takes place several years after the time when he used his original outfit. Back then, Rock Howard was just a little kid; now he's a young man.
I find it super funny how this thread is full of people horrified by the atrocities committed by Saudi billionaires while most likely still consuming from major companies from the US, Europe, etc., that without a doubt do things like employing almost slave labor in underdeveloped countries, pushing hard against worker rights at home, getting away with lots of corruption since they're so big they're essentially above the law, spending millions in lobbying to get regulatory agencies to give them a pass in destroying the planet for profit, etc.
@BLD I disgaree. I've met plenty of people who have valid criticism to offer about games, but the way you stated it, using sentences such as "incomplete story with blatant inconsistencies between routes to bait fans into arguing about it online for 3 years" sounds more like hating than valid criticism to me. You're arguing as if you truly believe that the 3H story writers acted out of malice by purposefully delivering a story in a way carefully designed to manipulate the community. That's too cynical for my taste. I think the 3H story has issues but it's fine for the most part, and the enormous amount of fan engagement it generates to this day is because that game's story and characters resonate with people, make them invested, make them feel something; not because it was designed to "bait them."
@BLD my brother in christ, you literally wrote "I guess with terrible gameplay and an entertaining story, it really is the mirror version of regular Engage." in your previous post.
Strange how this game already feels kinda "forgotten" while Three Houses is still discussed. I guess in the end of the day, "just" polished gameplay is not enough to win the hearts and minds of the community; you kinda need a good story and good characters too.
@BLD That's an incredibly unreasonable take. You may prefer one game over the other, but to pretend that the characters and the story in Engage aren't much, much simpler and basic than the one in Three Houses is an exercise in self-delusion.
@CharlieGirl Same. Despite being an FE fan, I'm a bit on the fence about this one (due to the art style, character design, and story premise), so I'm actually gonna seek out those spoilers to help me decide whether to get it now or not.
@moodycat It doesn't. However, this game was very clearly inspired by the GBA-era Fire Emblem games. One look at the battle screen should tell you all you need to know.
@Juga Both Triangle Strategy demos were fantastic. I don't know what you were expecting when you started playing a demo for a story-heavy tactical RPG full of political intrigue. It's doing exactly what games like Final Fantasy Tactics, Tactics Ogre, and the Fire Emblem series do.
I hope people don't give too much credence to this "demo was boring" comment and decide for themselves. I had an absolute blast playing it.

Eventually. I enjoyed the demo but I'm playing other games right now.

@Branovices oh boy have I got some bad news for you about capitalism and buying literally anything
Re: SNK Announces New Entry To The Fatal Fury Series, Its First Since 1999
@BloodNinja "teaser" is a broader category that encompasses trailers. all trailers are teasers, not all teasers are trailers.
Re: SNK Announces New Entry To The Fatal Fury Series, Its First Since 1999
@Li_Bae It's literally not a trailer. It's a teaser.

Re: New Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes Trailer Highlights New Protagonist 'Shez'
It's a Musou game, so I'm still not sure if I'll play it.
The trailer looked good, though. And as for the question, Claude + Hilda for life, and it's not even close!
(Dedue is neat, tho)
Re: 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim Unveils Mysteries In Latest Trailer
Already beat it on PS4, still getting it day 1 on Switch to play it again.
