X6 is challenging, yes, but challenging != good. The level design in X6 is absolutely wretched, and the levels usually provide a challenge by being annoying or cheap than by being genuinely difficult.
@TheDreamingHawk It's not just the MML3 cancellation, it's how the cancellation was handled. There was also other stuff(MMU and Rockman Online getting cancelled, Megaman not being in UMVC3) that made the situation worse.
@rayword45 Please no more minigames in Smash. I don't play Smash Bros. to play Mario Kart, I play Smash Bros. to play Smash Bros.
Anyway, I think "Super Smash Kart" would be an interesting idea, but I feel it wouldn't make sense for certain characters(i.e. Link, any Fire Emblem characters) to be driving a motorized vehicle.
@Emaan Except MK7 didn't do the land, air and sea thing, they did a hang glider and a propeller. SAS Racing Transfromed had Kart, boat, and plane segments that(from what I've heard) play very differently from one another.
"We funded development of the project, provided creative input and direction, handled QA, marketing (including the great trailer created by Capcom-Unity’s own Chris Antista), sorted out legal clearances and naturally, handled distribution via Capcom-Unity.com," Svensson said. Yup. Sure sounds like Capcom is being lazy, and not like "fans" don't want to like anything Capcom puts out. .
@Retro_on_theGo
The guy developing isn't a licensed console developer, so he can't release it on a home console. I don't see what the problem is with a PC release(unless you own a Mac). Just get yourself a PC gamepad(or a converter), they're not that expensive.
@MrWalkieTalkie
The guy making this isn't a licensed console developer, so they can't release it on a home system. Or if they did, it wouldn't be free.
Just because you don't want to copy XBLA/PSN doesn't mean you can't learn from them. Hopefully, Nintendo will let oyu tie your account to more than one system, and let you buy and transfer games via PCs.
Didn't they explain a long time ago why they had to go with two generic Toads as P3/4?
Actually, I'd kinda like it if they did the multiplayer like in Kirby RtDL, where you could play as one of four unique characters, or a Kirby palette swap.
@pntjr Um...what? Yoshi's island reboots? There have been two sequels(YI:DS was a sequel, not a remake) to the original since it came about. That hardly seems like anything worth getting upset over...
And I do think Nintendo could have done something to avoid this: Maybe having all the files necessary downloaded before installation,so if the internet was disconnected you could resume the download at a later time.
I don't care about CoD, but the Wii U having a stripped down version of CoD is bad news. Regardless of what you think of the quality of the series, CoD is still very important, and Nintendo having a lesser version of the game is probably going to turn some hardcore gamers off the Wii U.
@Link-Hero Hm. I wasn't aware RPGMaker was capable of making Zelda-type games. You learn something new every day, I guess.
Anyway, regardless of what anyone thinks of this particular instance, I think making it possible to pick between a male or female Link(or just having a female Link) in a future, official Zelda game wouldn't be a bad idea.
@Link-Hero I see. I wasn't trying to imply anything about you, so I hope I didn't give the wrong idea.
@theblackdragon Like I said, hacking a game is significantly easier than creating one on your own(though I figure that goes with saying). Maybe he just doesn't have the skill/creativity to come up with his own game/story.
Bravo, sir. Personally, considering Link is usually supposed to be something of a blank slate character, I think some Zelda game should include the option to play as a boy or a girl.
@TheDreamingHawk
Am I the only person on the planet who liked Super Paper Mario? Sure, it didn't feel like a PM game, but it was still a solid platformer.

Re: Fire Emblem: Awakening Getting The Pre-Order Bonus Treatment In The U.S.
I might preorder, but not through Gamestop. If there was a soundtrack, I'd seriusly consider it, but an art book isn't a big incentive for me.
Re: Feature: The Confusing World of Mega Man Spin-Offs - Part 2
I love the Megaman ZX games. I think all the Megaman games that aren't classic or early X are underrated.
Re: Feature: The Confusing World of Mega Man Spin-Offs - Part 1
@Rapido
Not sure if serious.
X6 is challenging, yes, but challenging != good. The level design in X6 is absolutely wretched, and the levels usually provide a challenge by being annoying or cheap than by being genuinely difficult.
Re: Namco Bandai Impressed By Western Interest In Project X Zone
WANT WANT WANT WANT WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANT.
have I mentioned that I want this game.
Re: Rumour: Capcom Is Bringing Its Arcade Classics To 3DS And Wii U eShop
I already of Capcom Classics Remixed & Reloaded on the PSP, so this doesn't really interest me that much. But it's still cool.
Re: Monolith Soft: We Want To Be Like Bethesda
@Scarkaiser
But the bugs make them more fun.
Re: Masahiro Sakurai: The Wait For Smash Bros. Will Be Worth It
Sakurai is going silent on Twitter? Good riddance. I hate that people take every little thing the man says as something Smash Bros. related.
Re: Capcom: E.X. Troopers "Not Planned For Western Release"
That's dumb. Though I'm sure there were more than a few hackers that just went "Challenge Accepted."
Re: Street Fighter X Mega Man Is "A Bit Of A Mea Culpa"

This. So much of this.

@TheDreamingHawk
I'm pretty sure there are programs that can get Windows stuff to work on Macs. If you can't do that, there's always VirtualBox.
Re: Street Fighter X Mega Man Is "A Bit Of A Mea Culpa"
It honestly seems like most of you people people want to be angry at Capcom.
@GumbyX84
I don't see how getting it to work under Wine/CrossOver is Capcoms responsibility.
Re: Street Fighter X Mega Man Is "A Bit Of A Mea Culpa"
@bezerker99
That's incredibly close minded of you. Just buy yourself a gamepad(or a converter), and you're ready to go.
Re: Hardware Review: Wii Mini
The only thing that looks good about this is the poptop. Everything else looks like garbage.
Seriously, though, poptops >>>> disc trays/everything else.
Re: Sumo Digital: Mario Kart Should Incorporate Other Nintendo Franchises

Please no. If there is a "Nintendo Kart", It should be separate from SSB.
I play Smash to play Smash, not to play Mario Kart.

Re: Capcom Announce Street Fighter X Mega Man

Try playing Rockman 7 FC or Rockman 8 FC. If you PC can run those, I bet it will be able to run this.

Re: Capcom Announce Street Fighter X Mega Man
The reason it's PC only is because it's actually a fan game that has Capcom "seal of approval." Not that it looks bad, mind you.
I wonder if any other fangames will gen Capcoms seal of approval.
Re: 18-Rated Content on Wii U eShop Only Accessible for Four Hours a Day
This is stupid. Parental controls are already fine, no need to add any more arbitrary restrictions that can easily be bypassed.

I don't think there was ever going to be a 3DS version, but if there was, it isn't happening anymore.

But this is Nintendo, so who knows ow things are going to turn out.

Boooooooo. I understand not having it work for Wii games, but not working for my VC games? Lame.
Re: Capcom Reasserts Its Commitment To Mega Man
I'm kinda hoping they port Maverick Hunter X and Powered up to the 3DS, so that those games have an actual audience.
Also, release all the NES/SNES Megaman games on the Wii VC, and all the NES/GB ones on the 3DS VC. Please n' thank you.

@Reala I liked SPM.
Re: Talking Point: Wii U and the Importance of Backward Compatibility

Sadly, no you can't. I can't understand why they chose not to include those, since a lot of Wii games offered Gamecube controller support.
Re: Talking Point: Games That Need Wii U - World of Warcraft
No. At least, not until the subscription thing goes away.
