I feel kind of dumb asking this but does anyone know how to pronounce it? Is it demon cross machine-uh or maybe demon ex mach-eena (like deus ex machina)?
I think it's the 10th anniversary in 2016 - seems like Nintendo to release it then if they were ever going to do it. I would love to buy this game or Earthbound: Futures or whatever they decide to call it on the U.S. eShop.
I get it - this is just a rumor, but it's still very interesting to discuss. What would it take for you to buy a 3rd party game on a Nintendo platform if you owned the current Microsoft and Sony consoles as well?
Hypothetically, if Fallout 5 was announced for Fall of 2017 on PS4, XBOne, and Nintendo NX - I would never buy the game on the NX if the graphical power or frame rate was lower than the other two. On the other hand, if the NX was more powerful and could run the game at 60 fps, while the other two were locked at 30 fps like Fallout 4 - Then I would definitely buy it on the NX. This is, of course, assuming that Nintendo doesn't make me waggle a controller or look away from my TV at a second screen.
I really hope Nintendo takes this opportunity to see the specs of the competition and improve on them. I think it is seriously the last and best chance they have at being relevant to the console market. Otherwise - its time to sell the IP's.
I can't be mad at anyone who is working hard to create games for the empty desert of Nintendo. I just don't under why they would spend so much time and resources creating a 1st person shooter on a platform that (even with New 3DS C-Stick) isn't made for great 1st person shooters. Why not develop a new 2D Metroid game that can play well on the 3DS controls and breathe fresh life into the franchise?
Yeah, I think this problem is getting increasingly worse. Not sure how much Nintendo would care to stop this since they are still selling everything they produce. But I'm not sure why they're not capitalizing on the popularity of these versions and producing more to sell. I think it would help a lot if these online vendors would limit 1 per customer. Or even better would be if Nintendo would offer Platinum Club Nintendo members the opportunity to buy one first.

I also wish those battles were extended. I was so ready to see Gengar do something awesome and then... nothing.
