I feel like some of the same people that thought the psp would dominate and the wii would get crushed (I was one of them) think the wii u will do poorly. Let's face it, none of us know how well a console will do but I put my faith with Nintendo.

@Myx What the heck are you talking about? There's some great games on the e-shop like Pushmo, Sakura Samurai, and Rolling Western. Just because the e-shop has been horrible for a while doesn't mean the good games never existed.

The thing that disappoints me the most is that I know Nintendo is capable of so much more.

I didn't really like the first one, but the more good games on Nintendo systems the better.

It's too bad, Baldur's Gate would work perfectly on the tablet controller.

I hope it doesn't feel slapped together with bare bones features like NSMBW. But hey, they've been working on it more than a year apparently, so why not have high hopes.

Its hard to say which Mario is best. Super Mario World holds the most nostalgia for me. But Super Mario 64 revolutionized 3D gaming. Even still, Galaxy 2 is probably objectively the best in the series.

I think people have reason to be worried. If the hardware isn't up to par neither is the third party support.

If it's a fighting game... why would someone make a fighting game exclusively on 3DS?

Is everybody too busy playing fifa over there or something?

I can say I am genuinely more excited for this than the console epic mickey 2.

Hmm. Is he talking about the hardware in general or just this game. If the hardware is actually only as good as current gen I won't be getting a Wii U. But I think E3 will shed more light on how powerful the system is.

3DS will be a great system this summer when Luigi's mansion 2, Paper Mario, Theatrhythm, and Kingdom hearts come out.o

Skyward sword had some amazing moments, but overall was just an average game. Super Mario 3D Land not winning over Peggle is hilarious.

@shingi_70 That's just the graph that every other site has been showing alongside this story. And obviously a gaming only company wouldn't look good next to an entertainment super company.

Finally!

In terms of console exclusives this game sold incredibly. To put it in perspective, this game has sold just around 10 million to halo 3's 11 million.

@Haywired This is the fifth entry in the series. Every game except the first has been fantastic. All the games are streamlined and easy to play. They have been working on this game for 3 years and it looks like its going to be very very good.

oh yeah and NA will get pandora's tower as well, just wait.

@Objection We were always going to get all of the 3 big japanese games. Nintendo wanted to spread them out through 2012 because they knew they would be virtually the only thing to come out on wii this year.

Banjo Kazooie : nuts and bolts was actually a pretty good game. Sadly I think that was rare's signoff from making anything gamer's want. They've gone all casual now.

3ds had a surprisingly good year thanks to its eshop games. Also super mario 3d land was fantastic. I think my favorite game so far has been pushmo, though.
