Bloodstained. It's Christmas come early. It will never be bad, the only question is how good. Seems like forever it's been in the VG news, dumping the Wii U and pissing off it's Kickstarter backers
I really enjoyed this entry back in the day. It was a real coup for Nintendo to have it as an exclusive for the GC. You can't go wrong with it if you're an RE fan.
Good review. It’s not easy to evaluate such a classic game in light of the huge technology shift that’s occurred since its release. I’ll always cherish my first SD GameCube playthrough. I agree that a full RE2 style remaster is needed to really do it justice.
Yup, same here. I don't enjoy the gameplay and it's theme is just a mashup that makes no sense to me. As mash ups go Marvel vs. Capcom makes much more sense.
I absolutely love this game. For a start it has great backgrounds with tons of detail and some really nice sound work. However the gameplay is far more nuanced than this review would have you believe. There's alot of strategy involved in beating the game with minimal continues even if it is a very tough game. For fans of belt scrollers this is essential and really shows that the trends and rivalries between Capcom and other arcade developers could result in some very good clones.
So glad Capcom listened. Not including the screen filters was a real disappointment but I'm so buying this now. Some of my best gaming memories are playing Final Fight on a big CRT.

Re: Chinese Video Game Giant Tencent Reportedly Gives Up On Arena Of Valor
Such a cynically designed game for mobile was never going to catch on Switch.

Cuphead ...such a great game. Stuck trying to beat the Ghost Train on Isle 3. It’s a total nightmare yet still enjoyable. What’s wrong with me?

Got Shovel Knight in the sale. Been wanting to try this forever and it’s very good! One of the best 16bit retro homages.

Love this game. Have it on Neo CD too but I can't cable it up ATM so this is really convenient.

Re: Review: Ikaruga (Switch eShop)
Tate mode is superb in this. Get a stand if you're mobile because you can't go back to playing it any other way once you've tried.

Hyper Light Drifter, Octopath Traveler
Re: Review: Hyper Light Drifter: Special Edition (Switch eShop)
So glad they made the effort for this Switch port. Day one for me.
