I've played through most of the first garden section, and the simple amusement of stealing a welly, dragging it into a bush, then poking your head out of the bush and honking at the gardener has easily made the asking price worth it already.
Still quite annoying to see no prices on the discount bit. Are you able to feed back to Nintendo (or wherever the info comes from) that it's not quite as helpful as it used to be?
Love the idea.... but I hate levels that you can still be alive but you've somehow failed because you've killed the enemy you need to make the jump already. GRRR.
Switch Joycon issue, but not drifting - the first Switch I bought, the left controller refused to charge straight out of the box. Returned to retailer and got a replacement!
I never did enjoy Doom 2 as much as the original Doom. Doom 1's levels were generally pretty tight and you rarely got lost, but I found myself all too frequently getting totally lost in Doom 2, seeing where I wanted to go on the map but never being able to work out how to get there, stuck in a maze of headache inducing textures.
Really got into this game on the PC, but have struggled with it on any system without a mouse - even touch controls just means my huge man hands are in the way of anything I'm trying to look at

Re: Mario Kart Tour Has A Paid Subscription Service For Bonus In-Game Rewards
No need to get it. And think of it this way - it can finance the development of some lovely future games for Nintendo consoles

So, so good.
My favourite music is the outro music. Check out this piano version of it... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b9IkpUYlOx8

Aside from that, everything else has been solid!

What happened to the prices? Not helpful at all

For more on this, I strongly recommend the Retronauts podcast episode with Dylan Cuthbert - gives a fascinating insight into how it all came together.
Re: Looking For A Brand New Wii U? That'll Be $800 Please
Amazon does this weird thing where sellers can set their own pricing algorithms which deal with it all automatically - which is probably what's happened here. Here's a nice example of how a textbook was listed for 23 million dollars: https://www.digitaltrends.com/computing/why-did-amazon-charge-23698655-93-for-a-textbook/
