Re: Tomodachi Life: Living The Dream Sales Are Off To A Flying Start

It's also on Switch 1 which is a big boost for it

If it was a Switch 2 only game could have been much lower

I'm enjoying the game, but it sort of feels like an early access. It's lacking depth at the moment, dialogue is super repetitive and there isn't a whole lot to do. The character creation tool is the best and most complete thing about it

Re: Poll: How Do You Pronounce These Pokémon?

moonblastx

the most important thing to keep in mind is that even the official Pokemon sources are not consistent in how they pronounce the names so don't get too snob about it because you can't be correct since there is no clear correct way. Pokemon has contradicted themselves many times, they have pronounced Arceus in like 4 different ways for example

Re: "It's Truly Baffling" - Shigeru Miyamoto Comments On The Mario Galaxy Movie's Critical Reception

moonblastx

I don't disagree with him. Movie critics are so snob. They don't understand movies that come from video games and they frequently make nonsensical criticisms because they aren't the target audience and they can't relate to the target audience. Instead of being self aware about this, they treat it like every movie is meant for everyone and therefore is bad if it doesn't appeal or enlighten absolutely everyone.

Re: Poll: What Review Score Would You Give Pokémon Pokopia?

@Metazoxan absolutely if you're gonna move someone do "Follow Me" and then grab their stuff it becomes very easy. i have just rolled credits (50+ hours) and i gotta say i just have nothing to complain about because i enjoy it so much. i wanna complete the pokedex and get everyone in their perfect living conditions. it's gonna take forever and i'm gonna enjoy every moment of it!

@Metazoxan One cool tip if the building queue asks you for example for a Charmander but it shows you the Burn icon, then it means you could use any Pokémon with the burn skill, like a Growlithe for example, if you just happen to run into it looking for your Charmander. I have so many minor things that I could say the game could do better, and it's all nitpicky stuff like that, but really very little. I have so much more to say about the things that wow'ed me, from the scale of the game, the narrative, the themes, all the systems, it's immensely cool... one of the greatest games I think I've ever played, it builds on everything that Dragon Quest Builders 2 did and does it better while incorporating elements from other games and also doing those better or at least equally as good

Re: Talking Point: One Month On, How Did Nintendo's Switch 2 Launch Go?

moonblastx

The console itself is awesome. Could have come with a more powerful battery, considering that it's running a much bigger screen and more demanding graphics, you'll burn through the battery really fast if you wanna take it on the go. But for my personal use, which is 99% docked, it's good.

It's missing games, tremendously, but this is the new standard on console launches. They no longer come with a launch lineup. I have put over 20 hours into Mario Kart World, and I like it very much, replayed Pokémon Violet finally running smoothly, besides that, feel like they should have already stacked the retro consoles with all the games they announced, at least that.
