"Ok guys, we need some 'new' ideas for Yoshi."

"Well, we had Mario get really big and plow through the level destroying everything in his path. Why don't we just do the exact same thing with Yoshi's egg?"

@irken004 I am just looking at it from a different angle. You're billing the small internal storage as a failure of Nintendo to be with "the times" (as defined by you) rather than realizing that it's a conscious choice that allows people the choice to add more storage if they WANT (and still keeping the total price point below the other consoles) while keeping the price down to allow entry for more people/families who don't need more than 32 GB of space, which is the case for many people who don't want/can't afford to pay the extra money for 500 GB up front.

@Bliquid So I'm against the sexual objectification of women in video games, especially characters that look awfully young, and I'M the bigot? Can't say I follow you.

@Kmno Why would I be disappointed that she's not a fairy? I haven't played the game so I don't know who she is.

@CanisWolfred

Thanks. And you're right about teens, unfortunately. As for the game, it does look quite good. Can you comment as to whether the sexualization is just in the cover art/advertisement or is that how the art is done throughout the game?

Why does everything have to be sexualized? Can we just have a fairy that looks like a fairy and isn't sitting in an alluring position with a dress so short it barely covers her junk?

Re: Review: EDGE (Wii U eShop)

@Maneauleau thanks! It's only $1.99 USD for me which is technically a bit less than 2 euros! I normally try not to buy multiple games at once but since this is only 2 bucks I think I can manage to get it along with Mario 3D World tomorrow

Re: Nintendo Comes Up Empty at the Golden Joystick Awards

The gaming world wants grotesque violence and softcore (for now...?) porn. I was hoping this industry could hold out a bit longer than every other form of entertainment in our culture so that my children could have an experience similar to the one I had growing up, but alas. Stand strong, Nintendo.
