@LAA You could not have said it better, totally agree with you, I bought the console not for its poor ports and indie games, at this point I don't think Nintendo will support third parties like sony and microsoft do with their consoles anyway last year I though it will be enough to own a wii U but Im seriously getting a ps4 next year.

what the hell! a cheap version is coming for the wii u without online multiplayer because there is not enough people playing online, so at least you should sell this poor port at half price to justify such a silly decision.

I dont think the tablet game market will die down as somebody said but I do think compare mobile games with dedicated console games is like compare apples with oranges, Nintendo got popularity with the original wii just because at that time in 2006 mobile games on phones and tablets were not popular as today, today people spend their money on apple store and google play on their devices and Nintendo knows that, the fact they made the wii U controller like a tablet is not a coincidence, Nintendo said they didn't plan to compete with tablets with their new console but c'mon its clear this is their intention, most of people who bought a cheap console to play casual games 6 years ago now they are on mobile games and Nintendo should focus on compete with real console games like ps4 and xbox instead of talking about mobile games.

@DimetriWarrior Nope, most of us want to see real next gen games on wii u like a zelda, a legit 3d mario or a new ip.

Wii sold a lot because it was too cheap for casual gamers BUT now is not 2006, apple get popular with their devices and then mobile games became popular, thats why all the people who bought a wii many years ago now is playing with a tablet and is not interesting on buy a new console, yeah I think Nintendo knows that and somehow with the wii u is go back take some of the hardcore gamer's market but in my opinion is a little too late, must of us went to HD a long time ago with a 360, ps3 or just a simple pc, nobody has that wow factor anymore to be impressed for a wii u at this point, Nintendo should have jumped to the HD race 3 years ago while the wii was selling so it wont hurt sales on both consoles.

I'm not interesting on Wind waker HD at all since I played this game many years ago on the gamecube so I don't see any point on get this one, I hope they made the next zelda with two screens, that's how a wii U exclusive game like Zelda should be to take advantage of the wii U hardware, some weeks ago there was some state from Aonuma saying he is not interesting on realistic graphics so I just wondering if he is planning to use cell shading or something like that because that will sucks, since wii, nintendo does not care about graphics but at this point I think I'm not the only one who thinks that Zelda should have less cartoonish style and more realistic graphics just the way they did on the 64.

They (third parties) dont even know about how much ps4 and xbone will sell at their debut but they already work on big AAA games, unlike wii U sadly no company trust Nintendo and make a real exclusive game besides zombiu and you guys can defend your argument that this is not substantial to wii U´s success but seriously all this lack of support from third parties just sucks.

@xKing_Koopahx Finally a person who thinks like me, seriously I dont know why Nintendo strives to go opposite to ps4|xbone, I don't think the isolation philosophy is a good idea this days.

I just want games, actually I dont care who is the president, resurgence of the wii u till christmast?... well seriously I don't see the reason why this guys released this console last year if they were not ready at all with the games.

Personally I don´t like the new super mario series, I just want a real 3d mario platform like 64, sunshine and galaxy series, I´m agree that there have to be only one mario game per console.

@SteveW You got a good point there about the replay value but seriously since when a 3d mario game on a console it's just an expansion from a handheld version? sorry but you can tell me about all the new features 3d mario land will have on wii u but it still looks like a clone from the 3ds, I set my tv on the wall so for me the less devices are in my room better, I mean why should I buy hulu or netflix when you can just add an hd video from your pc and when I said no real third parties support I mean games, not rehashes, look at ps4 and xbox, they have some new games exclusives planned to be there at day 1

I love how people defend nintendo to death, 3d mario since it's just a copy paste from the 3ds version with some add ons like peach playable lol, no real third parties support so by this we are forced to buy a second console so we are not limited to play only ninty games, I can't play any dvd or add hd videos to the wii u because Iwata said there is a lot of devices able to play thos formats so again I need to buy a movie player aside the wii u, recently they said they dont want to make a real graphics zelda because other consoles already has this, so this is not about capabilities but just go against other companies ideas

I think most of those who criticize this game is because they don't know how to play it, is very clear that this game has a difficulty somewhat elevated, but once you master the controls the game is awesome. This is a gem that reminds me the snes era.

the gameplay is just UGLY

I have heard many people saying, do not complain because the games are free, but I really don't agree how nintendo is doing with the block region, at this point is just ridiculous

wow is not easy to say because snes has huge awesome games, for me it would be donkey kong country, megaman x, contra 3, zelda link to the past, super mario world, earth worm jim damn is just too dificult for me haha I love all this games

Sega lost in the war against Sony and Nintendo, I was always a fan of sega especially in the last games for dreamcast, sega being as an AAA game developer became a mediocre game publisher, it was very sad what happened to Sega after becoming third party, I personally dont like mobile phone games and I would prefer Nintendo to stop its operations before they becomes another silly third party company for phones

@James thanks for your quick response, I confirmed that I did not lose my DsiWare games , @7ATalavera I'm agree with you, we should wait until the last possible moment until we decide to move to another region or not (I am also interested in having my Nintendo video service configured in our region, to avoid blocking ip), I hope we can have a confirmation from Nintendo Mx before Aug 9, I will be constantly checking if there is any info about this, (fingers crossed)

@7ATalavera @James I am also in the same situation like Talavera as I am from Mexico too, should I change the region of my 3ds?, I am currently studying in Shanghai and I have my 3ds configured with residence in Mexico so I have been accessing to the mexican eshop, but I'm afraid if the ambassador program is just available for U.S. and Canada, anyway I bought 2 DSiWare games, I do not know if changing my 3ds region I will lose my games
