yes mrpoo it is annoying, what would delay brawl so much? why would it be six months between US and Europe but with mario kart we get it first? maybe it's a matter of demand.... i dont know. Japan gets things first coz its made there and they have to translate everything before it goes global, actually maybe thats why it takes a while to come out here after the US coz we have a zillion languages in europe

US will get nintendo channel soon after wii ware release, does that go the same for Europe?

I think it looks cool, much rather spend my money on a good new game rather than some rubbish old game that i'd play once (not that i'm saying old games are rubbish, just theoretically one that i'd buy out of boredom), would like to see it in motion though, any vids out there?

1080 was good when it came out, prob pretty dated now. I swear they can't get FX chip games working on the wii, will suck if none them come out. i still haven't played yoshi's island, so looking forward to it comin out on the vc.

well they had lost levels on the all stars cartridge so its not totally unknown to the western audience. (i'm assuming that smb2j is the same thing)

I hate this strategic releasing of vc games. Not releasing super metriod until just before mp3 is out is stupid. I reckon the same ammount of people will download it if they just released it now!

not played paper mario before, downloaded it couple of nights ago and played the first couple of hours or so and must say its well wicked

they'll prob put size limit on games. i wouldnt be surprised if they make it possible to play games straight from SD or let you plug in an external HD, i think the external usb hard drive would be the best option. lots of people have them now.

I'm starting to think that they can't convert snes FX chip games for the VC. They never managed to get them for the emulators, unless some advances have been made since i stopped playing mine

I found GX easier, there was more to do so it made it a more draw out difficulty but i found the ships in X are much harder to control.

gameplay is great, the gamecube just took this game and made it look like a proper game. The graphics look shyte, wipeout on the ps1 looks better on a lesser powered console, but its still a great game.

i hate this game and the 3rd one. The original is so great, these ones were just tacky money making late commers. The music sucks, the graphics sucks, the gameplay sucks and no DK. Dixie...who?

Marioman64, they are going to drag this out as long as possible. there aren't any 'new' old games being released, if they released all the good ones all at once there would be no VC anymore. no point to regularly visit the shop. No reason for you to get bored waiting to buy the good games so you buy one you dont really want, giving nintendo that little extra money here and there that you may not have parted with if you had all the old games you want already.

demon212, lol fair enough! although a 'hard disk drive' implies there is some sort of disk, and in the wii there is none, just solid state, like an sd card.

@ damo - to solve ur spam problem, you could make users verify their own comments by sending them a verification email with a link they have to click before their comment will be shown. do you think this would work?

DEMON212 - dont feel like you got conned into buying an SD card, they might do an update in the future where you can expand the ammount of channels onto the card instead of having to copy it back and forth. also there is no HDD in the wii its internal flash memory.

if they released all the good games first no one would buy the crappy ones. by releasing them first, people get bored waiting to play the good ones and get those in the mean time.

ps3 is a ridiculous amount of money compared to the ammount of fun you get out of the wii. I own two Wii games, monkey ball (which is a bit sh*t) and TP (which is amazing). I havent played either for about 3 months since i completed TP, but I still turn my wii on everyday! VC is incredible, the vote channel is incredible, the forecast and news channels are great and the internet channel is very useful now and then.
There are some really great Wii games coming out soon that i'm really looking forward to, much more than anyhting coming out on the ps3, the wii is more than a console. its cooolest.

i completed super ghouls and ghosts, it wasnt that difficult, not like i remember it. now i want lttp, why do they have to be soooo looooong, aaaarrrrrgggghhhhhh

Well it came out bloody weeks and weeks ago in America, we're just sitting on our thumbs! OoT is a rubbish release, i have it with wind waker, so i can pop it into my wii and play it on there whenever i want withou spending £7!
