I played and got first place as the Wii Fit Trainer! Me and my friend waited out for 5 hours, but it was still worth it. (Even despite the lack of the 3DS version.) Everything went smoothly, and I quite enjoyed it. Seriously though, the guy in front of us played as Mario... Why he waited for 5 hours to do that is beyond me.

Of all the Pokemon that could be playable, I'm glad they picked Greninja.

Although I still believe that this is a BIG mistake, it's still nice to get the game this summer.

I got Super Mario World. It's actually, in my opinion, better than playing the original.

Nice. More indie games on Wii U is always a good thing.

You know what, I'm going to say it. I think Smash on Wii U may come out in july. It looks way too far done to be in 2015.

I really don't understand the complaining. I'd MUCH rather play GBA games on the Wii U, especially when it comes to rpgs.
@Znerd You do know that Wind Waker HD sole 1.13 million copies right? That's insane considering the game had a 6 month development cycle, then it was released.

Great, they are coming out earlier than I expected! Can't wait to try out Mario and Luigi Superstar Saga! BTW I want to try out advance wars, but don't know if it's good. Can anyone recommend it to me?

I actually have a Virtual Boy. I got it for $20 with the console, controller, ac adapter, stand, and Mario's Tennis. I actually enjoy the thing, and somehow it doesn't hurt my eyes.

It was an amazing year to me, especially since they FINALLY made a sequel to my favorite Gamecube game Luigi's Mansion.

I absolutely loved the year of Luigi. I enjoyed every Luigi game that was released, and was really happy to see the man in green get in the spotlight. Thanks Nintendo and Luigi for a good year!

@Tsuzura Hey, maybe I'm not in the majority, but I tend to speak normally. Actually, now that I think about it, wouldn't normal speech be strange. If everyone speaks badly, then that must be the normal speech.

Maybe it's an E-Shop release of Luigi's Mansion (GC). The year of the Luigi is ending, so why not give him one last hurrah!

You know what, I'll buy New Super Mario Bros. I played that game as a child, and thus it would be nice to revisit.

Jeez guys... Seriously, this isn't the only game that launched like this and was a success. Wind Waker launched worse, yet it broke a million.

@AlexSora89 That's pretty stupid TBH. You will only warm up to it when GBA titles are on 3DS? Then what's the point of buying them on Wii U? Would you rather them NOT bring GBA titles to either Virtual Console?

I thought the direct was pretty great! Although, I am VERY dissappointed by the fact that there was only one Wii U game announced. Still, Nes Remix 2 does look good.

Character designs aside, this looks cool! Still going to wait and see, Lost World taught me not to immediatly hype things.

Can't wait for Q.U.B.E., Shovel Knight, and Scram Kitty! I need to see more of Moon Chronicles. It stinks that I'm one of the very few looking forward to Q.U.B.E.

@CHECKit095 Hey, to me that's a good thing. Tropical Freeze comes out a tiny bit before my High School AIMS. It will (hopefully) help me get through the stressful times!

To be honest, I don't really care... If I want pac-man, I'll just buy the virtual console release. Still, stinks that it isn't coming.

Man, I can't wait for DS games on the virtual console! Maybe it's not required, but it still sounds nice.

Apparently nintendo just lowered thier sales forcast... Seems like it's not a gigantic drop though, so hopefully it sold well this christmas.

@Let'sGoRetro Wii Fit U is december 2013, Mario/Sonic November 2013. I believe Mario Kart is first quarter.
