@locky-mavo That's because N is a company so large it operates outside of what is legal. They use bullying and lawyer scare tactics to overstep their reach. It's all very illegal, but in a corporate run planet, it is what it is.
It's a really good game with great atmosphere. Definitely not for your average Nintendo gamer though used to games that you can beat blindfolded.
I remember quitting for awhile when I lost a couple thousand souls because it was so many resources to lose to a stupid tiny bee. Oh god how I hated the annoying bees.
I can't see myself ever revisiting it or trying to do all the Uber bosses and post game junk since it's a really unforgiving game.
I recently picked up Xcom 2 so I'm set on this sort of thing.
They're really catching the tail end of the horribly long superhero fad though. After Deadpool 3, I don't see there being any big films coming along to keep it alive anymore, just countless spinoffs and woke failures.
Cool cool. Amusing so many people on a freaking NINTENDO website and saying Fortnite is kiddie. Irony man, it flows heavily on the internet. Acting like it tarnished brands is a pretty lousy takes as well. Most companies want exposure and fans LOVE crossovers, it's just the big N stuck in their weird little bubble of protecting their bland character designs from 40 years ago and suing any 12 year old who dare use their likeness.
Still only spent $10 over 4 years ago on Fortnite and have tons of vbucks and skins from getting every BP since then for that measly ten bucks. Add on a thousand hours of some of the wackiest online moments I've ever experienced and I'll always defend Fortnite. It's a good game that constantly changes so it always feels fresh.
Definitely might get a FO skin if I can math out the vbucks and have enough to spare. A vault dweller suit, pipboy or BoS skin would be pretty cool. Sadly skins are hit or miss on how good they look quality wise on Switch though so I'll have to see.
I'm not sure why everyone is acting like it's an out of nowhere announcement. It was during an earnings call, where the stockholders ask questions about the future plans. Remember, video game companies serve the shareholders and profit margins and not gamers.

"we're saving $165 million"
No, you're funneling that money for the rich elites at the top of the company and to your shareholder masters. Big difference.
Re: Poll: So, What Are Your First Impressions Of LEGO's Zelda 'Great Deku Tree' Set?
Lol do people really spend $300 on plastic blocks in a recession?

Re: Random: Sakurai Likens Boss Battles In Nintendo Games To Tutorials
Yeah I can't say I'm a big fan of the "hit the bright glowing spot" boss tactic Nintendo loves so much.

Guilty. Didn't play it all that much though but it's quite the ride.
Re: Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door Has Apparently Leaked Online
I'm not sure how you'd expect them to stop leaks next gen except to.. not send out physical copies to retailers before it releases?

Re: Mortal Kombat 1 DLC Character 'Homelander' Looks Ludicrous In New Trailer
The Boys is such an amazing show. A much needed breath of fresh air in the very stale and dying superhero genre.
