They could put demos on there, if the controls work. Pokemon would probably do fine. Offer the first 10% of Pokemon X/Y for free, and when the demo is over, put a note that says the full game is available for Nintendo 3DS.

@JebbyDeringer Off-TV play. To get the same on Steam you need a PC powerful enough to run the game, and you need a device capable of recieveing stream from the PC over wifi, such as Poject Shield, which alone costs as much as a Wii U.

@Dogpigfish As I said, the game is already released. And this isn't an announcement, it's a statement made in an interview - in Japan, where the game is already out - about what the team might want to do.

But yeah, shorting games are bad. I wasn't against day one dlc until EA bragged about turning a 60$ purchase into an 80$ purchase.

I'd rarher have a good game lasting 1-2 hours (like Portal), than a bad game that lasts 20.

@Shambo The problem is that they already confirmed most of the games before E3, leaving little room for surprises. If they hadn't already shown most of their cards, they would probably have had a much better reception.

This might not be "New Zelda" to the 5-10 million people who have already played it. It is, however, "New Zelda" to the millions of people who haven't played it, like me. Therefore I am perfectly fine with paying full price for it.

It's a shame with the music, though.

@unrandomsam Arcades were a lot more powerful than consoles (probably are still, but I'm not entirely sure on that), so of course it's gonna look better. Same with 16-bit Genesis vs 8-bit Nes...

I refuse to judge a console's success until it has been out for at least two years. The Wii U hasn't even reached one. This feels like either an outsiders who doesn't understand gaming, or someone who is incapable of thinking long term. One thing is for sure, he doesn't understand Nintendo.

I would invest heavily in Ninty, if I had the money to do so. I trust in Iwata, in Miyamoto, and in Reggie, as long as his body stays ready.

@dumedum Xbox and PS also don't have a bunch of accessories like Wii Balance Board, Wii Motion Plus, Wii Zapper etc.

Nintendo needs to get more demo units out. I didn't really want one until I tried one at the Nintendo World Store. Then I ordered my Wii U as soon as I could.

The day I can no longer get games physically is the day I switch to pc and start pirating.

Some people talk like music has gone all digital, but I still buy CDs, because I prefer physical.

I will accept digital only when I can hook my brain directly to the internet. Until then,

Release Mother Trilogy as retail/download for 40$. Not a remake, just the three original games on one disc. Would sell at least two million consoles, just with that alone.

Oh, and while you're at it, get Square to remake FF7 in time for your next console release. Would probably sell a few units...

@TobiasAmaranth Story isn't worth poop if the game isn't fun to play. Example: I hate Uncharted: Drake's Fortune. Story is cool, but gameplay is terrible.
Gameplay should always be number one priority. If you want to put story over gameplay, make a living movie.

@Goginho Because the camera in OoT3D is awful. The camera in Skyward Sword is better, but still bad.. Those are the only Zelda games I've played (got into Nintendo this February), so I can't comment on any other games, but the camera was my number one flaw in both games. Now, it's understandable that it is thatcway, considering both have only one stick, but now that they have two, i'll be pretty pissed if they don't use it for the camera.

@Goginho Controlling the sword with the analog stick? NonononononononononoNO! Please, just use it to control the camera!

@KAHN Then don't buy it. Personally I am glad they did this, as I have never played Wind Waker, and it's loving expensive nowadays.

@Klunk23 Why? The pro controller is just a gamepad without a screen. All they have to do, is mirror the TV on the gamepad, and you get the same experience as with the pro controller, exept you can turn off your TV.

Gonna wait for the reviews, but most likely gonna buy it. Wii U version is my choice, as long as it's a good port, and not gimped.
