Re: Talking Point: Ring Fit Adventure Is A Thing, But Is It Your Sort Of Thing?

aVagabond

This "ring-con" is nothing new. In physical therapy it is used in rehabilitation quite often . Nintendo is simply combining it with gaming, which is great. I am interested. Most of us here are probably sedentary and overweight anyway, so it may be a good thing to move a bit. But of course, everyone does what they want, and that's perfectly fine. I will wait for reviews and then decide. Was thinking of starting a light fitness regime anyway. It would also be great to implement this function into other games aswell.

Amazing game. When I heard the music,it stirred emotions inside ofmeI never knew could be evoked by agam. Loveit. Can't wait.
Oh and jedi outcast was a pleasant surprise.
But the rest of Direct... bad, for me.
I am starting to dislike Nintendo I must add. I don't want to, but I do. "Switch" Lite, improved switch version with better battery life than a dedicated handheld... Joycon drifts... Their hardware used to be top notch quality, but now...I don't know... their logic puzzles me... I'm turning into a hater. Nooooooo!

Re: Video: Nintendo Welcomes Switch Lite To The Family With Flashy Console Trailer

20% chance yes, 80% no. It doesn't switch. Battery is meh compared to the original model. Potential Joycon drift?
Batterywise I just don't get Nintendo. They released "newer" version of switch with better battery, a unit which isn't a dedicated handheld, and then this, a dedicated handheld with less battery time than an actual hybrid console. I don't get it. If I purchase anything, it will be an "improved older" unit, or a "pro" version. Though this is a bit tempting too, I must add.

@Giygas_95
As I was cleaning my switch and ps4 today, I realised how many great games I have, which I haven't even touched, because something new is always around the corner. I noticed how we are mostly excited for new games, they come out, stay popular for a couple of days/weeks and then are mostly forgotten, because something new is there already. I miss the old days when we had gaming magazines and when games didn't come out so often. One would really play their games through.
Oh well, shouldn't complain though. It is a great time to be a gamer! Anyways, happy gaming.

Decided to delete all of my games on my switch. Having so many of them really made it difficult to decide what to play. Will redownload games which are perfect for short gameplay bursts(Smash etc.) and only one larger game, so that I can devote my time to it. But, that game is not out yet. Ni no kuni. Everone's saying how great it is, so, when it arrives, that will be the game. And then I'll do games like books. One at a time. And stop buying so much games. And actually hang out with real people. I overdid it with games so, like I said, delete, delete, delete, and moderation.

Re: Poll: Astral Chain Is Out Today, Are You Getting It?

Anyway, regarding topic. Not going to buy it probably. I don't like flashy action games(epilepcy inducing) . Played bayonetta 1 & 2, finished 1 but couldn't bring myself to finish 2. Too... glossy and flashy. Half of encounters didn't know where I was on the screen.

I also live in Germany, but hate it when games are synchronised in German. Or movies. I haven't visited cinemas here because of that. Anyway, if I want a physical copy of the game in english, I order from Amazon uk. Never failed me. I ordered Dying light for ps4 for example, because I simply couldn't find a copy in Germany. Even digitally it wasn't available in the psn store. For example, Wolfenstein for switch is in German (nintendo eshop), plus all the important characters are changed. Awful. Talk about censorship. And when I go to the store to even consider buying a physical copy of a game(switch or ps4) I just don't dare to buy it, because I bought some years back Oblivion for my pc and, when I got back home, installed it... oh god! Horrible translation to German. Characters speaking German. No option to set it to English. From that day on I don't watch American/British/whotever language movie on tv. Because almost all of it is in German.

Dark souls on switch. It is probably one of the best games I've ever played. I love it, but I hate it. A strange relationship. I hope dark souls 2 is some day coming to switch too. Ds3 not likely, well, due to hardware limitations maybe. Don't know.
Also bought three houses and tried a bit. Oh gosh, that is complex and time consuming. Told muself that I need to socialise s bit more, not living like a hermit. Work and video games only at the moment. The only thing I don't like in three houses are american sounding voices. I'd prefer english similar to "dark souls english". Or a "Harry Potter english". American english just doesn't add to the immersion for me.

Crash team racing. I love the game. I love Mario Kart too but this is kinda more satisfactory after succeeding to reach 1st place on medium(haven't tried hard). Also, couple of minutes rocket league and maybe smash. It is great to do these gaming bursts with those games. Thinking of continuing dark souls, but in coop. Last time online was kinda dead. Only couple of invaders from whome I lost, of course. It is a great game, but crushing after reaching certain point(without finding a bonfire before) and then dying. I have a love-hate relationship with this game. Ds3 was much more accessible(for me anyway).

@Dpullam

Hey! Thanks for welcoming me. I understand what you are saying, regarding difficulty. Personally, I consider myself a casual player, although I do yell at games sometimes (Dark souls, Bloodborne, Nioh and lately Sekiro). Nope, lately easy modes for me and casual gameplay. Due to work and school(decided to educate myself further in my mid thirties) I have little time to play. So, when I do, I want to make some progress, and not like in Dark Souls 20 to 40 times dying to a boss, losing couple of hours in the process.
Anyway, may pick up sonic team racing too. Will se.
I do need to say that I am enjoying CTR for the moment. Especially online. I am bad, but when I do manage to pull out a perfect lap, man that feels good. Kind of more satisfying than MK8 Deluxe at the moment. Enjoy your gaming. 😃

Hi guys. New here. Been lurking before. Reading comments. Signed up because you seem like a cool community. Anyway, regarding the game: it runs very smooth. Both docked and handheld. Online works great. Very skill oriented game. Played around 5-ish hours, then played MK8 Deluxe. MK8 feels easier to control. CTR feels like 200cc from the get go, with "awkward" power slide mechanic(that's how they call it if I'm not mistaken). I played the original on PS, now on the switch. I think both games are great kart racers and deserve to be played. Loading times are... well... longer(around 30-ish secs), but I believe it will be taken care of. I play on easy. Don't wanna get frustrated. But even then, considering I'm reacquainting myself with the game, it was a bit of a challenge. Gotta "git gut". MK8 on the other hand was, comparatevely, a breeze(grand prix, I suck against human players online). Anyway, too much babbling already from me. Enjoy guys/gals.
