It can take only a few months to remaster a game, even if the Metroid Prime Trilogy for Switch doesn't exist yet it could be easily be ready for 2022. I guess Nintendo is waiting for Metroid Prime 4 , though, which maybe won't be available until 2023 or something like that. For this year they already have a Metroid game, so the Trilogy Will probably come out next year.

To be honest I'm more interested in this than in an possible Switch Pro (or even a Switch successor)...

@russell-marlow there are many developers that have published dlcs without problems on the eshop, only dotemu seems to have this problem...also I think, but I'm not too sure, they have never published a dlc on switch, sooo...

I'm really interested in this, I could play many Steam games I haven't played, yet.

@russell-marlow nah, most likely developers didn't read the manuals to publish a DLC on the eShop carefully, and this happened...

@Abeedo in an Ideal world there wouldn't be so many wars in the world to begin with...

What should they do, send their army of Goombas in those areas? You guys are hilarious sometimes...

The demo didn't convince me much, so I bought YS VIII instead...I'll get this when It will be on sale, probably.

Not that it would be a great issue for me, but I guess it's better if you don't have to download so much additional data...

OLED is great, but to be honest I'm fine with the Switch Lite's screen.

@Manjushri btw, Super Mario is sexist just because you have to save the princess? If it's the case it's ridiculous...saving a princess from a Monster or other dangers is just a trope from medioeval times, nothing more, nothing less, it doesn't have to do with gender roles, at least not in modern times...also Mario isn't your usual knight on his white borse, with blonde hair, Blue eyes and so on...nobody complained when you could play as a powerful amazon in Golden Axe, though, or as a skilled street fighter in Streets of Rage, after "having" to save the girl in Double Dragon and Final Fight. And what's wrong if some girls need to be saved? Not all people are strong like ChunLi...

@Jey887 strange that It was like that, at the time 99% of videogame players were MALE! Even Nintendo made a handheld called "Game Boy", not "Game Kid"...
Nowadays 40% of players are female, of course things have changed.

Looks pretty good for a Game Boy game, you can tell from the sketches that this is really a passion project, and not another quick cash grab!

Finally...I don't know why they didn't announce the release date sooner, but ok.

I doubt many games on the Switch are worth the full price...

They want to protect their IPs but they barely make them playable on modern consoles....I have bought Metal Slug so many times on so many consoles (+PC and smartphone)...same for many other old games...still the first time I played most of them was with Mame!! Nintendo doesn't want people to make illecitely Money with their old games? Fine, but they should release them on the Switch ASAP, or people will search and play them on other platforms. It's just as easy as that.

I didn't think you could use a motorcycle as a weapon in a musou game, but here we are....!

@TheWingedAvenger the graphics of the original game are outdated, though, this version looks way better...

@Moroboshi876 well, they haven't been too benevolent for the Ninja Gaiden Collection recently....
While it has many flaws (unfortunately) I enjoyed it nonetheless...the same goes for various other games, reviewed here...

@Moroboshi876 have you tried the demo on Steam? Maybe it's not that terrible, many times I don't agree at all with NintendoLife's review, especially the final score...

There is a demo on Steam (available only until today it seems), I will try that before deciding to buy it or not. After all I enjoyed many games you gave a bad score!!

My favourite will always be the first Sonic, if anything for the bonus stages!

It comes out just when I have many new games to play...

It would need a lot of improvements to make me buy it...
I guess I'll borrow it from a friend, of Nintendo doesn't make a demo of course, just to be sure.

@SwitchForce the only way to hurt scalpers and make them stop is to NOT buy from them. There's nothing better...

@Slowdive it's a bit difficult (impossible?) to legislate against people buying things and reselling them at whatever the price they want, unless of course we are talking about "essential goods".

It was decent, but far from excellent...

I'm looking forward to it...too bad we'll have to wait the end of the year for the second wave!
