I think Trials and Tribulations is more expensive due to there being five episodes instead of four
Trials and Tribulations isnt actually more expensive then the others, I dont know why it says it is. In Japan, Justice For All costs 1200 points as well. The original game costs 900 points with the DLC being 300 points.
Everywhere else in the world, all three games cost 1000 points with the first games DLC being only 100 points.
And I hope they do the reverse as well and bring JPN titles over. Man, with stuff like Muscle March and Tomena Sanner making it out on their own what are we really missing out on besides Pole?
so does this mean we'll see max and mm, and that zombie game over here sometime as well then? Both games were confirmed for over here long time ago. Max was just recently confirmed for March.
Gameloft is cool and all but they're just porting old mobile phone games to DSiWare now.
I don't see how that's a bad thing since that just means more exposure. A lot of their WiiWare and DSiWare titles started as mobile phone games in the first place.
Hudson is listed as the publisher because their always listed as the publisher for Turbografx games on the ESRB even if it ends up saying otherwise when the game finally hits the shop.
This IS coming to NA. I think it was listed on the ESRB before an EU release was even announced. Plus Konami has a website set up for it. http://konami.com/games/tomena-sanner/
The CrossworDS published by Nintendo here in America is pretty much Crossword Collection in Europe. The CrossworDS published by Deep Silver elsewhere is a different game. Take a look.
For the next few hours, America gets to enjoy having more WiiWare games than Japan. I'm sure we'll bounce ahead again since they don't update next week.
So actually, I didn't realize this but this Famicom Tantei release is Nintendo's first very own double dip. Maybe there is hope for SNES Wario's Woods and Yoshi's Cookie. And their Arcade library I suppose.
bla Phoenix Wright was already released and yet capcom said it be a summer release for n/a most likely noa will charge 10$ for it here The games are hitting here in January, March, and May for $10 each but the full versions of the games in Japan are 1200 points each so I think we're getting the better deal here.
CapCom just seems to keep missing the point in the how and why of DLC... And this one is very, very wide. Considering the fifth case is the ONLY DLC between the three PW WiiWare games and considering that Capcom wants to charge it for 100 points outside of Japan and considering that the fifth case was a bonus case to begin with, I think I can let it slide.
I'm sure we'll have two more weeks of this, as Ninja Gaiden and Shinobi are repeats of previously released games.
Neither of those are repeats. Ninja Gaiden is only a repeat in name and we don't have the original Shinobi at all. The only upcoming game right now thats a repeat is Solomon's Key.
I'm actually curious. Will all 3 versions get different reviews or just Blue? Not that it will affect my purchase, I'll probably get Green sometime down the line (and the rest eventually just because game connectivity bonuses are cool, especially from two different series.)
Also, I'm pretty sure we will only ever ever ever see Free DSiWare from Nintendo.
The list of WiiWare games says Castlevania doesn't release until Q1 2010 in Europe. Wouldn't US be similar? The list for US said Q3 09. So I imagine next week will be Castlevania and Monkey Island 3. Otherwise I can't see Castlevania taking any longer then November
It used to happen at the same time (10 am central) now it's taking longer... What gives? It updates at 11 Central. Unless that was a typo. Even still, I checked the DSiShop at 11 Central and it was updated.
Ok...I think Family Favorites is intended to be the Clubhouse Games Express game that launched with DSiWare in Japan. They share the same background color on the game icon and the same title screen color but they don't share the same games. Japan's version has basic games like Old Maid and I Doubt It and stuff so I imagine we might not get that version.
Or we will get a fourth Clubhouse Games Express, who knows.
@23, Japan had a week of nothing last week. Not just VC but all around. No WiiWare or DSiWare either. And they've had a few weeks like that where nothing in any of those categories updated. We may have had a few No VC backs but at least we've never had a Nothing At All Week.
They already announced the other 2 games will be out within the next month, so theres no reason to think they'll wait until 2010 for Super Return of the Jedi or something.

Re: Nintendo Download 1st March 2010 (North America)
I'm going to wait for the PS3 release of Mega Man 10 for trophy support
...You know those trophies are just taken from the games Challenges right?

Re: Nintendo Download: 8th February 2010 (North America)
@warioswoods, Nintendo had 10 downloads a week constantly in December. I think their record for most downloads released in one day is 11.
Re: Nintendo Download: 9th & 10th February 2010 (Japan)
Edit: Did microsoft make a deal to get this for themselves? I Wonder. It's the one thing that makes sense as to why it took so long.
I don't think so. It came out PS3 not too long after the 360 one so it's really just a matter of waiting I think.
Re: First Impressions: Panel Renketsu 3 Minute Rocket
Its definitely coming to EU too, the Link N Launch name was revealed through the OFLC before NoA announced the game was coming in February.
Re: Nintendo Download: 2nd & 3rd February 2010 (Japan)
Is that map thing actually being released as an update and not a separate application?

1200 points is just for Japan. Everyone else will get the 1000 point price.

Re: Castlevania: Rondo of Blood
@KeeperBvK
I think they removed it long before the DSiWare version. Probably long before the WiiWare version too.
Re: Ironclad
What? No this costs 900 points in Japan. So here it'll cost 1,000 points.
Re: Nintendo Download: 21 December 2009 (North America)
Cave Story is still supposedly in development and Reflect Missile is confirmed for January 4.
I imagine Castlevania Rebirth is good and ready though so that can't be too far off.

Doubt these guys will ever find out but for the sake of prosperity, this actually WAS a WiiWare release in Japan

Re: Review: Rayman (DSiWare)
This is one of the more negative impressions Ive seen on this....compared to the IGN review and several fan accounts.

Re: Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney (Episode 5)
I think this has been confirmed as DLC for the first game and not a seperate download.
Re: Phoenix Wright Series Coming To WiiWare
Is it confirmed that Episode 1-5 will be a seperate download and not DLC?
Re: myNotebook Applications Get Release Dates
Dig those incentives
Re: A Little Bit of... Nintendo Touch Golf
Oh actually, we did get it here as True Swing Golf. Unless you're talking about the DSiWare version.
Re: Nintendo Download: Fights, Shooters, Sparkles, Vikings, Dragons, Carnivals, Escapes and Card Games (US)
Fun Fact: We got more releases this week then Japan. I don't think that happens too often.
Re: Nintendo Download: Winds, Warriors, Dinosaurs and Domo-kun (US)
@Eggmiester
There is 0% chance they meant Q3 2010.

Re: Nintendo Download: Fantasies, Wars and Words (US)
I'd've gone for that wordsearch game if it was a dsiware game.
Well the good news is, it's also coming to DSiWare!
Re: Official: DSiWare Purchases Cannot Be Transferred to a New Console
This wasn't predictable? Really? This is how it is on the Wii isn't it? People didn't see this coming?
Re: Nintendo Download 29-30 September 2009 (Japan)
Isn't this the second Illust Logic on DSiWare?
Re: Japanese Virtual Console List - October 2009
@24 NoA didn't stop releasing first party games just because it's been a while...geez
@25 Keep in mind Chrono Trigger is from a different company.

Re: Review: Clubhouse Games Express: Family Favorites (DSiWare)
Third? What is the third referring to? This is only the second Clubhouse Games Express to get released outside of Japan.
Re: Read Your Horoscope with the Today and Tomorrow Channel
Japan loves this kind of stuff so this channel isn't pointless at all. It's just the cultural differences make it seem that way.
Re: Nintendo Download: Rebirths, Colours, Jedi and Clubhouses (US)
Don't apologize. Instead of a quality N64 game we got a quality SNES game. I'm down with that.
Re: Nintendo Download: Rebirths, Colours, Jedi and Clubhouses (US)

Re: Clubhouse Games Express: Family Favorites
Euchre? If I'm right thats known as Last Card and thats in the other Clubhouse Games Express.
Re: Nintendo Download: Rebirths, Colours, Jedis and Clubhouses
I...I think this Clubhouse Games Express is currently exclusive to America...this requires more research...
Re: Nintendo Download: Monkeys, Rattles, Fantasies and Puzzles (US)
Apparently some people think that since XBLA is getting S+K this month that must mean the VC version is ready.
I really don't think its that big of indicator of a VC release but whatever.
Re: Japanese Virtual Console list - September 2009
I hate hate hate it when people think Nintendo is "refusing" to give us popular games. Thats so outlandish.
Re: Japanese Virtual Console list - September 2009
They took down Relics off the MSX list after like over a year of being on there.
Re: Master of Illusion Express: Psychic Camera
I think this one is specifically tailored for DSi so I hope it fares better then the others.
Re: Nintendo Download 25-26 August 2009 (Japan)
And yet there's no import surcharge. Interesting...
They get enough extra charges for popular/RPG games.

Re: Nintendo Download: Kindred Spirits, Rock N' Roll, Star Wars and Different Art (US)
I wouldn't say NA skipped Sudoku. In fact, I'd say EU skipped Arts!
Math and Arts were Launch Titles in Japan and Sudoku came quite a while later.
