Nintendo would really REALLY benefit from a subscription service like Xbox Game Pass Ultimate - £11 and I can play any of the 100+ games on both Xbox and PC! If Nintendo did a similar thing that included online and they're first party titles for £20, I'd be down for that, but even £59.99 for a brand new game is way too much for me.
I really do think a Game Pass-like subscription for the switch would bring in holla dollar for Nintendo, I would happily pay £10-15 a month or so to play a library of Switch games! Nintendo also has a huge indie selection of games that really would benefit from an audience who can pick and choose what to play whenever!
Things like cosmetics which have no benefit or addition to a gaming experience really bother me. DLC like the fighters pass for smash Bros is something that I will get behind though as the characters themselves implement new ways to play a game. That kind of DLC I'm happy with purchasing.
I think people are giving this game too much of a bash. EVERYTHING is unlockable if you just play the game - you don't need to shell out the money to get more coins.
That being said, the last three grand prix's were a complete drag once you completed the nitro bar. Challenges were never THAT difficult, and it just became repetitive. If there were new seasonal modes like what Rocket League did for it's Summer Event, then I'm sure that would give the CTR fans something else to hold onto other than characters and karts that they have to grind for.
If they had done a paid version of the game like Mario Run, I would be more inclined to play this, but the gold pass subscription being the price it is, is just too much.
Some of the cups, especially the ones released today, are just ridiculously hard to complete unless you have the characters which are locked behind a loot wall, which is exactly wrong with the gaming industry. £10 for the full game, and I'm there.
Why are they giving discounts on the Wii U when they have an incredibly successful console called the switch which, even when giving out discounts, could make them even more money?!

Re: Talking Point: Should We Expect A Nintendo Direct In September?
Microsoft supporting Nintendo this past year is really making me hopeful for a banjo-kazooie port!

Personally, I think a sequel would be great. Improvements I would like would be:
Re: Get Discounts On Super Mario Games And More With My Nintendo Rewards (Europe)
Honestly Platinum points at this stage are pointless. If Switch Themes just hurried up already, we could spend them on that. That, and maybe icons?
It's great to have gold points towards actual games, but right now, my nintendo sucks the big one.
Also, why the hell are we getting mobile game achievements and not switch game achievements?!! UGHHHH
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (July 6th)
CTR is taking up most of my time now that the grand prix is upon us! Sorry Rocket League!
