I got to a certain point on the wii version where I knew what to do but the awkward controls simply wouldn't allow me to do it. I couldn't proceed and it was sad...
Game shark, game genie... In some ways beta quest on Zelda 64 (and levitating) was so magical and mysterious. It seemed to reveal all possibilities, such as actually seeking the Triforce. For Smash on Wii, it lead to a whole realm of creative community that was, admittedly, very exhilarating to approach, however late in the game I may have wandered in. However, I do agree with the majority that an online competitive community should not be corrupted in such a way, and especially not so close to the release of the game. MK8 is thriving, balanced, and rewarding to those who are skilled enough to win. That's what competition is all about! Breaking into the Wii U is likely inevitable, but perhaps it will come at a time when there are no more system updates, Mario Kart 8 is considered retro, and everyone is focused on the latest and greatest Nintendo console.
@agqwestern @Musterd @Samuel-Flutter Thanks for the info! It would seem that his story can simply be known from his actions. He's not a villain, although he seek power. He wants to fight the greater evil, but he's going to do it his way. His realm extends beyond dreamland, so he would be a big fish in a small pond there. He sees the big picture, and will even fight Kirby to maintain that it remains intact. I like him more now! Maybe I'll give him another shot in this next installment!
I've never played a Monster Hunter and after watching that, I still have no idea what it is about. I'm thinking a realistic pokemon?
Also... @hcfwesker you are so right! I disabled adblocker to support the site, but I'm glad I'm not the only one seeing JT over there. I'm thinking, "What did I do to deserve this?"
Hey, did you notice... sounds like the Wind Waker is playing familiar tunes, such as Saria's Song from OoT. Looks like the Wind Waker got a new wielder and a new repertoire!
The roster keep getting bigger and bigger! I wonder how many, if any, characters will not be revealed until the game is released? Surely they are saving some surprises for us to discover on our own!
@smikey Thanks! Yeah, I'm on the U.S. east coast so 4pm would work great if I didn't have anything going on. My hope is that a Nintendo Life tourney will be more enjoyable than getting smoked by Japan's super-pros every time!
I'm so glad Koji Kondo will be featured in this series. The way that he utilizes theme and variation is brilliant! His are iconic compositions that are recognized and loved by so many.
@Caryslan Yeah! They could do so much with alt costumes if they only would! Like if Sonic had his new Sonic Boom design, or even a Tails skin. They have alot of room to really shake things up!
@miss_dark Thanks to your comment, I just skimmed the video rather than watch the whole thing. Because you're right: I want to save some for my own discovery! It is hard to not look though
It seems as though Nintendo realized with ZSS that they have a character in their lineup who appeals to "mature" audiences and can compete with the abundance of similar content found on other consoles. For instance, when I picked up Mass Effect 3 for Wii U (which of course was on other consoles before Nintendo) I noticed that all the female characters have the same "body type" as ZSS does now. I suspect that they are highlighting ZSS this time around to show the world that they can be just as edgy as other brands.
@PvtOttobot @ChessboardMan I think the reason they decided to hold off on the Wii U version is for people, like myself, who had no intention of getting the 3DS version. However, because summer is so close and winter feels so far away, I will end up getting both versions simply because I am ready to play some smash bros. I wonder how many people will buy both that would have only bought the Wii U version? That's my guess on their reasoning.

Re: Video: Ghirahim Looks Creepy and Deadly in Hyrule Warriors
No Zelda villains have yet been confirmed for smash bros... perhaps Ganondorf will be accompanied by Ghirahim this time!
