Well, my gamestop is better with the Nintendo games (Wii U ads out in front, 3DS behind the ads, and wii games all over the store), but at my school district people won't shut up about buying COD BO II. These are coming from 6-15 year olds mostly. But what REALLY irks me is that I get teased off and off because I don't like the COD series. I just hated it ever since the second game. They even bully me if I try a "hardcore" game, like Final Fantasy or Street fighter, because there is no blood.

Seems like shovelware. But Vectorracing is coming next week as well, and you should also report on that.

@Firejonie That was because of stupid accusations that Nintendo wanted to hate 9/11 because of Starfox. so they moved it back earlier to prevent issues. Don't get why that was a bad date if it happened 11 years ago, though.

I would think it would do better if they gave people who could download it the option 3 days earlier, compared to buying it in store on the same day.

And Kid Icarus was on a friday because... Well, I don't know, but it should happen again.

I knew this would be bad, but glad to see that it will work if you like these games.

@zipmon But.. But... You can't lose! I know WL2 won't let you die, but at least there is challenge in it too. It's not easy to the point it's bad (That would be PokePark Wii, which is the stupidest, easiest, shortest, game I've ever played)

I was at Target once to get some 3DS eshop cards and I saw this family and their daughter looking for a DS to buy. Not a problem. Sales guy comes to help, Not a problem. They ask "Is the DS 3D the same as the DS, but with 3D?" Sales guy says "Yes."

I was confused, but ignored it. Then they pulled SM3DL and MK7 off from the shelves, and bought her a DSI. I told them that it wouldn't work and they need DS games in order for it to work, but she just said "Oh, well we don't care about 3D."

I told them: "It's not a DS, it's a 3DS". And they just shrugged and bought the games.

I have a good feeling that the parents will get a A+ in their wisdom skills, don't you?

I want this in the US just to learn Japanese, but they never do that.

WTH HAPPENED TO THE GAME GEAR GAMES?

Seriously, they are on the eshop, waiting to be released, with RATINGS, and they just skip them. Why? I have no problem with no 3DS VC if the 3DS ware is good, but this is just a plain joke. I mean, only two games, and they are the same. With one being on each platform.

...WHAT THE HECK? This is probably the WORST week of 2012. EVER. I'm not even joking, I know we had a drought earlier this year, but at least we had 3DSware that was decent (Colors 3D and Kid icarus 3D classic) during that time. Now? Nothing. Only the NSMB2 download and the DLC will be what I get, but considering how they aren't the "Thursday games" we also are interested in, it's just plain sad.

And don't even get started on that picross sale. Everyone who would be interested in that game would have gotten it the LAST time it was on sale. Considering how there will be no more deals after today is also sad.

And I think I know why the SEGA games haven't arrived: People ranting.

On the Youtube page for the 8-bit Summer page, people won't stop saying stuff like: "OMG WHY U PICK SONIC LABYRINTH IT WILL HURT SALES DO POKAYMON", or bad statements like "PUT EVERY GEN OF POKEMON ON THE ESHOP ALL AT ONCE AND YOU MAKE MORE MONEY THAN SONIC BLAST AND LABYRINTH".

I'm just nervous that they are actually listening to those dumb statements, considering how they listen to other things like the Xenoblade spamfest and their Facebook page a lot, it may be that reason.

@TheConsiglio I was playing on my friend's PSN once at his house and when I was looking for Final Fantasy II and IX to have him download, it took me forever to find them. I don't know why, it just reminds me of the DSI shop in terms of finding a certain game only to have to wait 20 minutes before hand. Here is how I would rate the shops:

What do you mean? In all honesty, they have been doing good ever since the 3DS launch. Considering the nightmare of a time with the PS3 and Xbox, I say they have the friendliest online.

@Chrono_Cross I feel your pain. I almost got CC in a gamestop once, but before I bought it, this annoying 5 year old and his mom bought it instead (I was at the drinking fountain). Still haven't found a copy that isn't pirated yet... Anyone know where I can buy it without piracy?

@Stuffgamer1 I think that was due to the high amount of Japanese text in the game, which is a shame considering how I can read some Kanji.

It wasn't their fault. Honestly, even though Capcom did stupid stuff with this game at first, they did it great in the end. Sadly this got canceled. Here's hoping they make up for it by releasing II-V on the 3DS VC.

How on earth did this become popular out of the blue? It's not that interesting now that it's cancelled. Not to mention Mega man 11 would probably be better suited anyway.

Either way, I hope this will be decent. If it's like that stupid sequel that was thankfully Japan only, I'm avoiding it at all costs. But I want to support Konami, at least until they release Quarth in the west. By god I'm as excited for that game as I was for Kirby's block ball.

I have no clue why this hasn't shown up in NA. Maybe it'll be NA's last Hanabi festival game, but hopefully they will release it, as there is no reason not to release it in today's society.

...Or at the very least, in Canada and South america if the US may have problems with it.

@Millenia I actually do have a classic controller, but the new feeling of it is nothing compared to me playing SMA2 on a gameboy player. If it was like 3D land where the B and A buttons both jumped, and X was the spin jump, I could bear the original more. The SNES controller could also make it more comfortable, as I tried it on a real SNES at my friends and it felt better, but I'll still love the SMA2 better no matter what.

@theblackdragon I'm going to buy one on ebay, as long as it'll work with a NA controller. I am not a person who whines over CN rewards, so I just take what I have and be happy like you.

At least since the Gold nunchuck, which I will never get in time.

@theblackdragon Gamecube controller on wii VC is what I use. And it's just uncomfortable for me. Granted, the game itself is great, but I'd only play it again if they released SMA2 on the 3DS VC.

SMW's controls on the SNES were terrible, considering how A is usually the jump and not some other feature. But SMA2, the GBA port, is one of the best
mario games I've ever played, with a much better control scheme, Mario's voice (which isn't that annoying unless you die a lot), and of course the epic secret exits.

For spinoffs it'll be Paper mario N64. so much stuff to do, and partners! SMRPG was just too different to me, with out of place partners (Geno and Mallow), and it's grinding requirements.

Simply change the music, replace it with another song, do whatever. This game needs to be on the VC, and if not in america, then at least Japan to prove that it CAN be rereleased in it's current form.

@Mickeymac I do. They aren't honestly bad games. Spinball on the Game Gear was the worst, crashes, bad sound and lag added up to it. Sonic 1 is wayyyy better than those games, but sonic labyrinth and blast are decent at best.
