Been thinking about the issues MP4 has with linearity and hand holding. I'm wondering if it's intentional. MP3 came out 18 years ago. Many current gamers weren't even born yet. MP4 could be their first exposure to the series. Maybe Nintendo wanted to simplify it to make it more accessible to newcomers.
As for me, I'm enjoying it in spite of itself. There's hints of a good MP game here, but the designers didn't fully understand the assignment. 7/10. (Though I just finished the 4th biome and the boss fight was AMAZING. Easily one of the best in the entire series. I'd rank it up there with Kraid from Dread.)
Recently played through the old PC version. It's fantastic. It's semi open world with many interconnected areas. Good variety of enemies and locations. Lots of exploration. Very underrated.
This game is a hidden gem. Played through the original version and loved it. It's an interconnected world, sort of like Metroid Prime. Maybe a better description would be Resident Evil if it was a boomer shooter.
The difference with the Jeff Goldblum video is that he doesn't mock the player for beating the game, unlike Mrs. "Tetris is not a life goal". He's like "Yeah, good job, now go do something else."
I think LRG's turnaround time would improve if they would just slow down on the releases. They announce new games and editions so often it's no wonder they can't keep up.
This game looks like a 3D version of the 80s arcade game Hippodrome. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UcsJm_QbyFU&feature=channel). Even some of the characters are similar (dragon, medusa, wizard, etc.). This is not a bad thing, as that game was great. GhostfireScott, was RotG at all inspired by Hippodrome?

Wait, i thought Chicken Wiggle came out on the 3DS. Were there supposed to be other platforms or stretch goals or something?

@sleepinglion It's a shame. I think the Lynx version was the best of the B&T games. It's a fun overhead adventure/puzzler.
On a related note, the Switch needs more Lynx ports.

@Yoshif3 It might be Cybarian: The Time Traveling Warrior. Barbarian. Time travel. It all fits.

I found a Flip Grip alternative on Etsy that works great. It's called Pintendo. Works with OLED too.
