I know Metroid has never sold well in Japan (I think besides from Super Metroid) and I shouldn't be too shocked by the painfully average sale number but I can't help but feel a bit sad over it. I've only just recently got into the Metroid series (I've only played Fusion, ZM and Samus Returns) but I've loved all the games I've played so far (Samus Returns is currently my GOTY until Odyssey obviously snatches it away) and I really want to see this franchise continue, not only for the long-time fans but also to expand upon the lore and explain any unsolved mysteries (like the creepy final chozo memory image). I know it's too soon to be crying 'oh no 2d metroid is dead, welp goodbye metroid', but I really hope this wasn't our last chance to safely secure the future of metroid and Japan mucked it up.
The thought of a 45 minute long direct sounds reaIly exciting, but I'm going to keep my expectations low so I don't end up being disappointed. I wonder if we'll hear any more about that unknown 3rd 3DS Kirby game that we've heard absolutely about since it was revealed few months back.
I don't know if anybody knows about this but did you guys know that on youtube some people don't understand why these Nintendo-themed cars are exclusive to the Nintendo port of the game? I seriously wanted to cry when I saw it. On the topic of the cars though, damn that metroid car looks awesome
@nhSnork Gosh I feel really dumb right now, I don't really know how to respond to this.I'm obviously being too hard on them and not giving them a chance. Hopefully when the time is right and they see the benefit of developing their software on the switch they'll release their games on it.
@nhSnork Sorry my wording was really bad, I obviously know they won't actively deceive their fans to buy a system they won't plan to support. I just feel like their giving empty words that don't hold any substance but I'm most likely just being overly-negative. I would love to be proven wrong and seeing their games on the Switch would be great.
@ECMIM My wording was really bad, my mistake. I know they obviously won't be tricking people in a malicious way, they'll be basically asking for hate and negativity that way. I just think they're giving empty words that don't hold any depth to them but we just have to wait and see if they do genuinely mean those words and do release their games on the switch.
@BinaryFragger Even if the switch does keep it's high momentum in sales, I still have a slight feeling they won't release any of their games on the switch, though that would absolutely nonsensical. Again, I'm obviously being overly-cynical about the whole thing and I would love it if they did eventually release their games on the switch
@Snaplocket I know their waiting to see how well the switch performs first before they start taking any drastic steps to supporting the switch, but I've seen this situation many times in the past and on most occasions it's just empty words. I would love to be proven wrong though.
Not trying to be negative or anything but everytime a developer says this, they really mean that they have absolutely zero plans on releasing their games on a nintendo system but they want to trick fans into thinking they eventually will (95% of the time, they don't release their games). I'm pretty sure these statement s were said all the time during the early years of the Wii U...and we all know well that went.
While I know a lot of people will be touchy and salty about it, but this guy does bring up a lot of valid points that you can't really disagree with (his point about the Wii is spot on). However, I do think it was very low of him to bring up Iwata's death to try and proof one of his critiques.
@SLIGEACH_EIRE Yes your opinion is valid and your allow to be dissatisfied with something, but when you have to be negative about almost everything and have to spoil some people's enjoyment, it gets really tiring after a while. I've only been on this site for a short period of time but I know you've been pulling this insatiable act for a good while. I do apologise for the profanity though, that was unwarranted and overreacting.
@SLIGEACH_EIRE [removed] Do you have to be against absolutely everything Nintendo does these days. I swear it's absolutely impossible to satisfy because you need a fault with everything Nintendo does these days. [removed]
Ohh.. Ohh that looks beautiful! Between this and the Hey! Pikmin / Miitopia demos, I'd say that European Nintendo gamers have been given special treatment. Makes a change that's for sure
So are people still super salty about this game or have they finally realised that it's a harmless spin-off that will not affect the main franchise whatsoever and actually calmed down?
inb4 people don't give this game a chance, the game flops, Nintendo announce they won't be continuing to support the game and the same people who refused to support then female dog and whine about how nintendo are too scared to create any new franchises and milk their old ones.

Re: WWE 2K18 is Confirmed for Nintendo Switch
Inb4 the switch version is a second-handed port that's missing crucial features that the other versions have.

Soooo will this company ever learn to fix its stock problem or no?

@Octane Sorry for causing a storm in the comment threads as well as the unwarranted profanity. I'll make sure it doesn't happen again.
