This is just absolute bull, I probably would’ve loved this and it would’ve made my holidays feel alot more exiting then it currently is. I follow soo many gaming sites and not one really covered it, or I didn’t even get a notification for it for some ungodly reason. It’s like a employee saying
“hey they’re handing out giftcards ”
“Really? When? now?”
“Nope! Yesterday! ”
“oh ok”
Like the point of this is obviously some kinda marketing thing (although it ain’t doing so good, I don’t see a reason to buy a game that was once free) but I’m sure the message is like “oh yeah man, we’re just giving, it’s the holidays, making people feel good ya know?” Well I dont good, this whole thing just makes me feel left out and horrible in general. Of course this is just petty talk but I’m having a terrible Christmas and all this do was break a already very shattered bottle.

Things very similar happened with WW2 and Black ops 3. I hope you guys could remember that.

@vree you're being lied to. Those loading screens takes nearly a minute with every door, step, ladder you go through having one. It makes the game nearly borderline unplayable. And the characters split apart certainly doesn't make it any better but the loading screens are still such as long when there's only one character.

There was someone who was so sick he was bed ridden from it and only had a couple of days to lives and the last thing he wanted to do was to play smash bros. Then you got gcunit telling people "why in god's name should he get to play smash Bros first? Life is a serious illness, maybe I should brag to sakurai if I could play the game before anyone else"

Since all the android jrp's game's were announced in the last direct surely this one wouldn't be so riddled with them.

also, one more thing I'd like to add. if this was just some DLC, I would've absolutely loved this! but them treating it like it's a spinoff to the Zelda franchise just makes it feel wrong to me somehow.

@Wavey84 or they could go all out and completely ignore shattered soldier since it is a ps2 game and release the two contras on PlayStation that were absolute garbage :'> I'm 100% about hard corps being on this collection though- I'm not too worried about that.

@Tantani I've owned the switch since launch and been on the shop about two times a week since then. I've only seen this game in the "hits" section only once but never recall it being on top.

To be honest I'm kind of disappointed in this. It feels like nintendo missed thousands of opportunities here by allowing this one small company with "one game" in their entire companies catalog to make a spinoff to a billion dollar franchise. I don't know why, it just seems completely unfair that a company which made one game that is still obscure and barely talked about gets this kind of treatment when there are hundreds of amazing games on nintendo switch that could've benefit greatly with the same treatment.

There's 8 contra titles and the 8th game in the series is shattered soldier (one of my all time favorite games) please konami ;w;

@NintendoFan4Lyf the best thing to do in the game is find the best possible/fastest route to the end. It doesn't matter how much you die. Keep on doing this until you master running past every enemy without getting hit once ;3
