@ParasolStars This is the best time to play and collect Switch 1. The portfolio of games is out of this world, most of it is available second hand and most of the upcoming heavy hitters will be available on S1 as well. Seriously, I could go unemployed, play Switch 1 8 hours a day and have quality games to play for the rest of my life.
Weeelll...I can't say I'm surprised. The success of the Switch 2 has had me far more surprised. I've yet to develop any kind of desire to acquire a Switch 2. I'm sure that will change though as soon as they start putting original games out instead of S2 versions of old games.
Jesus this is so stupid. Not every video game needs to be upgraded for every console generation. I'm completely fine playing these games on the system I already own the games for while waiting for something genuinely new to be launched for the current generation.
I simply fail to understand the success of Switch 2. I've bought every Nintendo console on launch since the N64 but I've yet to experience any desire to buy the S2. The S2 is making me feel like I'm becoming seriously disillusioned with contemporary gaming, It's just more of the same with a hefty price tag. Doesn't help that I'm drowning in high quality gaming on the S1 so forking out 600+ euro for a performance upgrade just simply doesn't make any sense at all.
