Re: Hardware Classics: Nintendo AV Famicom

Rohan1979

I have managed to finally find a Nintendo A/V Famicom at a thrift store yesterday!! I still have my NES Top-Loader and the O.G. Famicom and the O.G. NES Front-Loader. What's nice about the A/V Famicom is that I can play my American NES controllers on the said console, except for the Zapper. The unit came with those 2 "dog-bone" controllers and a FC-to-NES adapter. A NES/Famicom enthusiast like me would enjoy those games I never got to play in the West. Now all I need is the Famicom Disk System!

As a Switch owner, I got to play this unique game on the NSO service. It credits SEGA as the publisher, since they merged with Sammy, the original publisher of the game. This game really blows my mind with the combination of platforming, rail shooting and vehicular combat.
