@CptProtonX yea mine shows 21.21 so just a tad north of 21 bucks if you have prime. Odd thing is if you go look at the prime discount now it's says it will be 23.99 at checkout. Anyone have any ideas?
@essiw this guy nailed it. I'm sure they'd loved to have a big massive rpg for us to play on our switch next holiday but with the caveat that it may take longer.
@Pupito no argument here mate, been playing mega Man since the second and love the series even the bad ones. I did enjoy mighty number 9 just wish it had lived up to it's intial hype is all.
@Gridatttack it indeed does. All the bosses are from mighty number 9 and one could argue that this is the game mighty should of been in the first place.
Looks like it could be fun, not a genre typically represented on Nintendo systems so I'm all for more variety. That said I don't see why it can't be out at the same time as the other systems. Anyone know if it will have co-op or multiplayer?
@Nintendoer No you can't, but sales will change their minds no doubt. If we ever get near full fledged support it will be if it sales 13 plus this fiscal with no signs of slowing down. The pie would be to tempting from a marketing perspective to ignore. At least that would be sound choice, who knows how the BIGS think.
@Jasspur I can confirm this, was there early today and they had boxes but no systems. They did have a wait list, just out of curiosity I asked what number I Would be if I signed up now. (I already have a switch and 8 physical games) 7731! Granted I live in Dallas and the store I go to is in one hell of a populate area with no game stops in 6 miles. They get the switch daily about a 100 give or take. That means the last guy on that list won't get his till September 19th. Production could ramp up though. I think 13 million is a respectable goal for fiscal 17. I also got disgae 5 for 45 their the other day.
I've never bought a soccer/football game in my life, played a few though mostly on snes, yet I feel compelled to buy this. Its two fold it seams.
1. Switch lends to co-op/competitive at the core system level. Its it's thing for the lack of a better term. Two controllers out the box.
2. We as switch owners need to show the big AAAs we are interested in their games or we'll end up getting nothing again.
I can hear the whisper of complaining coming now, "but downgraded port, less modes, no dlc, lessened visuals". FIFA has at least 2 of these, but nothing earth shattering wrong with the game. Sad thing is I truly agree with the community that this should not be acceptable and we need full games plus extra content where applicable.
Everyone knows about the Nintendo triangle with 3rd parties. Publisher takes wait and see approach at first, releases port of game six months later than other systems it in turn sells poorly. They then decided to pull all future support.
The publishers aren't willing to break the cycle by taking a few game losses and keep making games till they strike gold on Nintendo when there are more lucrative platforms.
So we as gamers have to step up and buy these games so they sell well enough for support not to get pulled. If we don't break the cycle it won't end. Of course if you want to keep things how they are, table scraps with zero parity 3rd party wise with the twins then well god help us all.
I'm digging the new "possession ability" Mario has but what about the traditional Mario power up? WHERES THE FIREFLOWER? Big mushroom or feather? Maybe I missed something in the direct but I sure hope these aren't being replaced... Anyone have any idea!
My switch and Zelda should be here in the morning and I just can't wait. Question though, it seams I forgot to cancel my preorder for the Wii u edition when I ordered the switch in January. After looking at the Amazon page it says my Wii u version is not coming till March 30.... I preordered in September. Anyone else having this issue? I thought about canceling it but seeing how it may be rare I just might keep it for value!
So hard to choose a favorite. I played links adventure first at about 5 and wasn't very good at it, played the original shortly there after and starting falling in love. OOT was the first I played from start to finish( one more for the Christmas morning starts) and I was hooked bought a SNES the next summer and enjoyed a link to the past just as much. So nostalgia says OOT but I can't say definitely. How about all of them
Alot of thoughts on this, I'm slightly bummed by this but not a deal breaker. So we have heard about online multiplayer but what about local co-op? Would be pretty cool to slid off a joycon to hand to you buddy to play 2 player Mario kart SNES or smash 64.
I've had three orders in as many mouths not make it to me from Amazon all curtsey of USPS. All tracking has showed it made it to my mail box, yet I never received the items (games and a few other cheap things). Makes more sense now that I k ow they sell of unclaimed items... For amazons part they have never even questioned if I received the item, hers to hoping my switch doesn't get lost in transportation...
@pandarino excellent idea grandia 2 HD remake? For the love of all that is holy please. I remember playing this and skies of Arcadia back to back winter of 2000. Great games
Pretty much what I expected. Off topic question but I was thinking of getting a power bank for the switch, does it have to be USB c type or could I just get a cable that goes a to c?. Any recommendations??
This can only be good news. Hopefully kingdom hearts 3 please. I dont see why the graphics couldn't be handled on switch even if it isnt top notch hardware. How about the Bioshock Trilogy from 2k couldn't take much to port that either, nor much of an investment. Would allow them to test the waters for fps for switch with minimal investment. Would any of you guys buy it?
Aren't these the same guys a couple of weeks ago that said they ported the game from PC to switch in a week? (Obviously not fully but the base code etc.) They started work on it beginning of January this year and it will be ready mid March? Supports the easy to port to switch argument! On topic, I'll pick it up if the price is right.
