I’d love crossplay between systems tbh. I like to have my favorite series on playstation and Switch. Would be awesome if I can just transfer the save file over and continue playing on the other device.
Capcom DID make it easier than ever to see the reward chance for capturing or carving. It’s made so you can have a healthy balance of capturing and killing just so you have more chance to get the item you are aiming for. Look at your tables and you’ll know!
But yes, let the host decide if the monster is caught or not. Seems like a fair unwritten rule.
I get why he gets annoyed by getting asked the same question over and over again. But having developed the game for so long, you definitely should have something to show. Show a screenshot or something to show it’s still in development. People will quiet down and you can focus on your work.
Apparently the comment ‘it’s going fine/smoothly/very well’ doesn’t cut it with the fans.
@Beermonkey @retro_player_77 Didn’t they also announce seperate from the normal local co-op there would be local co-op with people who own the light version?
Which means crossplay?
Yes the portability on switch is an issue then when wanting to play together if even that doesn’t work. But buying a switch is not a necessity because it will be released on mobile phones too (and I imagine tablets will work then too).
Why are people falling over the no offline co-op thing? You can still sit next to eachother in a room and play together with the online co-op function.. I really don’t see what the big deal is. Everything is still possible only in a slightly different way.
No problem! Hoping that sharing this with the community will push the publisher and developer to release it internationally. Building a fanbase may just do that!
So I thought this yesterday, and I had the same thought reading this post.
It’s very easy to ‘predict’ games by just naming the gaming companies, without a release date and without a title. We already have a bunch of officially announced games without release dates, it could very well be those same games.
Not to mention, wait long enough and the company will surely release a game.
I will be psyched when they actually share new titles, give us release dates of the ones we know that are coming or both.
I still wonder why people whining about lookalike games. If everything needs to be original, there should be like 100 games max in the world as all the games of today own at least something that looks like it’s copied from another game.
If people think they can do it better, why not create your own game then? Prove the developers they should do better, who wants to bet 99% can’t?
Like I previously stated, stop whining and don’t play it if you don’t like it.
I am so done with people being so negative about literally everything lately. Even when a game is accepted as being original, people whine (I’d love to use a different word, but let's be civil) about looks, moves, colors, story, setting, etc.. Just quit it people, let developers make their games, play m, then have an opinion on if you like it or not and then move on. If you think you’ll hate it before even playing, don’t touch it and move on.
Developers have a hard time as is. Being bullied by half of the globe is definitely not going to help them create new content for us.
People say they comment because of love for the franchise, but lately there is so much negativity it’s more like people are frustrated with their lives and want to lash out where they can. Just stop it people, move on, live and let live.
I remember the day when people would just play a game for the fun. People keep comparing new games to earlier made games, but it’s a new game for a reason right? A new game is something new, not to be compared to some old thing. It’s not like the pokemon games continue on in story either.
I’m getting both games and going to play them with an open mind.
I really hate people being so selfish and arrogant all the time. Game Freak put a lot of effort into making the game. People should be thankful over anything really, cause if they didn’t make it, people wouldn’t be able to play it at all.

If this comes, they’ll try to do m all! Hope they’ll do Oath of Felghana too!

Re: NIS America Is Bringing Ys IX: Monstrum Nox To The West In 2021
@Anguspuss yes please! Would buy that in a heartbeat. Oath of Felghana probably won’t be in it as it’s a different company that released it.
Re: NIS America Is Bringing Ys IX: Monstrum Nox To The West In 2021
I own the entire series. Most games on multiple platforms. I am hoping they’ll bring the older games to Switch too.
