I get they're trying to revitalize the game but reusing an old splatfest is dumb. How hard is it to draw two new pictures and write four lines of dialogue? Heck they could ride the Animal Crossing train. Give us bug vs fish with CJ and Flick shirts!
Very impressive but at the same time I hate these projects. I can never enjoy a project that involves destroying old working hardware. These are a limited quantity that will never be made again. I'd much rather see a FPGA used to create something new rather than destroy something irreplaceable.
But the Switch already has keyboard and mouse support. It's up to the game dev to allow it and so far that's just Fortnite. If Nintendo considers keyboard to be a valid input for Smash they'd just turn it on.
If a game isn't beatable without patches then it's not really a physical copy. All you've bought is a physical key. Even on Steam you're restricted to always online DRM. Hopefully we'll see a GOG release eventually so the consumer can actually own what they buy.
I have 10 joycons and they all work fine. In fact no one I know has had this issue. It'll be interesting to see what the final failure rate turns out to be.
I have a release day Switch and one of every color Joycon. Still haven't had a single issue with anything. I wonder if people are forgetting to update the Joycon firmware.
I hope that's not real. Built-in controllers were the worst part of the Wii U. Analog sticks always rot after a few years and the only fix would be to buy a new console.
Now this is interesting. Way better than Antstream. I don't understand why people think streaming games will work when it's been proven troublesome over and over.
That's odd. Old style arcade games are starting to make a comeback. I think people are beginning to realize that most mobile games are time wasters and have no real challenge since the touch controls are so wishy washy. This is going to turn into another Virtual Boy, isn't it? Oh well. If Nintendo loosens it's grip maybe we'll see Atari or Sega come back.
I heard about your game and thought it looked generic and boring, that's why I didn't buy it. You have to understand that anyone can make a RPG Maker game so there has to be something to make your game standout. Banking on Nintendo to do that for you is stupid.
I'll pick it up later today. I played Xenoverse 2 on PS4 mostly through remote play on my Vita, so I put up with lag and low FPS anyway. It's not a great game to play Vs other people but it's fun for story mode and co-op. Plus you get Xenoverse 1+2 story mode to play, which will be new to me.
Nice fake video of Mario Kart. They claim it acts just like the official dock but the video clearly shows Mario Kart on the Switch and the TV at the same time. Might want to do some research before copy pasting a KS next time.
I still think Blizzard handles DLC best. Release the best complete game you can. If it's a hit, then make an expansion that adds in new characters and levels for a reasonable fee. If that's a hit then do it again. The worst part about these prerelease season passes is you know in a year they'll release a complete edition for half the cost of the original.

Ristar! Ben Fiquet's style would be perfect for it.

Re: Nintendo Switch 10.0.0 Firmware Update Supposedly "Adds Preliminary Support For A New Hardware Model"
The Switch will integrate with Lego Mario. The "second screen" is the LCD in Lego Mario's face.

Re: Star Wars: Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy Listing Appears On The Switch eShop
It's not really Jedi Academy without mod support.
Re: Angry Players Are Starting To Review-Bomb Animal Crossing: New Horizons
Sharing one island isn't THAT bad. The real problem is playing at the same time. It's worst than playing as Tails in Sonic 2.

Re: Nintendo Announces Splatoon 2's Final Splatfest, Chaos Vs. Order
Considering the rampant cheating and hacking in Splatoon 2 I'd say Team Chaos has already won.

Re: Random: Microsoft Really Digs Super Smash Bros. Ultimate
I hope not. There are way more iconic characters that deserve being in Smash before Steve. Plus Steve has no personality, he's just a default avatar.

Does the full version support left handed stance? The demo felt weird having my hands backwards.
