hello! you are right: DeadZone: Rogue is amazing! played it on PC and now replaying on Switch 2. I'm so happy they decided to make a port for the Nintendo console. I hope it gets well received with good sales 🙂
I dedicated the week to Bravely Default II. it is a bit old, I know, also considering there is the prequel now, out for Switch 2 too. Nevertheless I was never able to finish the game, due to some distractions. This time I'm committed, or at least I hope so. I recommend it to every Turn-Based RPG lover out there.
I also confess I'm playing it on Casual, it is embarrassing I'm aware, but I'm trying to enjoy the story without much farming or torment.
have a great weekend everyone, full of games and peace 🙂
however I have a PS5pro, a gaming PC and a Series X (now gifted to my nephew). at the end of the day I prefer to play with my Switch 2, for several reasons. so I decided to make it my first and only gaming machine, buying or re-buying the available games there.
said that you are right: other versions of the same game are superior on other platforms.
congratulations for your achievement: I tried 2 times to beat Final Fantasy XII but never reached the end, for a reason or another.
I wish you to complete the game this weekend as planned; as for me... I will try again 🙂
this week I re-played an old Souls-Like: Ashen.
it is one of my favourite games because of the art style and artistic direction in general.
to be fair I have never beaten the last boss, which is notoriously hard.
maybe this time the outcome will be different...
there is, in my opinion, a great sense of discovery and wonder in this game, so I easily recommend it. furthermore it is an accessible Souls-Like, because you have always a companion (npc or real player) near you and this renders many fights more approachable.
so yes you can co-op from the start without arcane remedies like other games of the same genre.
there isn't a Switch 2 patch and Ashen often has some frame-rate issues, nevertheless I'm enjoying it.
I wish you all a great weekend full of games and peace 💙
this week I completed Cat Quest 3, lovely game, which I enjoyed much. I decided to not indulge in NewGame+ runs or the Mew Game, nevertheless I may return in future.
then I began Star Wars Outlaws but I still have to reach a point of view about this game.
finally I fell again for my beloved Diablo 3 with great satisfaction: addictive gameplay as always.
I'm currently at home with a flu 🤒 but I wish you all a great weekend: play and stay safe 🙂
nice article: thank you 🙂
I enjoyed the fireworks on the beginning of Star Wars Outlaws: when the story starts there is a feast of some kind on the city involved.
This week I played the usual Mario Kart 8 Deluxe even online with random players.
Then I bought on sale Cronos: The New Dawn because I enjoy third person shooters. Unfortunately I thought the game was similar to Resident Evil 4, instead it's much more tense and scared me quite much so I quitted it for the moment. I dislike proper horror games so I believe it was a bad purchase by my side: patience 🤷♂️
Finally Cat Quest 3 which in my opinion is sublime and I'm enjoying it a lot.
I wish you all a great weekend full of games and peace 🙂
I'm currently playing Shadowrun Returns one of my favorite games, already finished on other platforms. At the moment I'm halfway onto the story. I may say the Switch port is very good albeit I'm playing on a Switch 2.
Then Hot Wheels Unleashed, bought the Complete edition on Sale to support the developer, Milestone, which is Italian, like me. The game is very good and I'm enjoining it so far.
Also some runs on Mario Kart 8 Deluxe that everyone knows.
Finally a bit of Quake for good measures; I'm trying to convince some friends to play Horde mode but without luck. I just would like a Quake 3 Arena port on modern consoles.
I wish you all a weekend full of games and peace 💙
@aresius Hi, Im enjoying the game so far; sorry Im not much technical. The game has some framerate drops but Im have much fun, and that what counts for me. Maybe you should read some reviews for a better opinion.
Bye and have a nice weekend.
Im replaying "Kingdom of Amalur: Re-Reckoning" for the 4 time (haha!) first on xbox360, then on ps4 and finally on Series X. but now on Switch in portable mode. I love this game 🙂

I used to play it with my nephew in the same room: he on the Series X, myself on the ROG Ally Extreme.
we had fun time and good laughs 🙂

Re: Review: Double Dragon Revive (Switch) - Nice Ideas, Uneven Execution
I'm a bit disappointed: I was waiting for this game.
probably I will follow the reviewer suggestion picking it up on a sale.
thanks for the article 🙂
Re: Nintendo Releases A Storefront App For Android And iOS
I used it: pretty solid.
it opens an in App web-browser for buying, the usual one, but that's ok for me.
thanks for the advice 💙

Great review: I enjoyed the reading quite much; compliments to the author.
Albeit I will not play this game in the near future.
