Well, when you've just gotten a Wii and the only game you'll have for 9 months is SSBB, you'll find yourself playing it a lot. Realistically, it's probably more like 520, because there have been times where I left it paused for a while.
This is my favorite game, other than electroplankton. I love the graphics, the music, everything about it! I personally think it has one of the greatest battle systems ever. I think it's awesome how the audience interacts. It suprises me that this got a lower score than the original. It's improved in every way, at lest imho. The battle system is deeper, there's a more original storyline, everything actually looks paper, there are more sidequests, and there is one thing that makes this game SO much better than some other RPGs [once again, imo]. You never "beat" the game. It's like pokemon, where you beat it, then you can go and do whatever you missed, it doesn't do that whole "you beat it, so now you're right before the final boss again" deal. Personally, I think the original deserves the 8/10, and this deserves the 10/10. Whoa. Even electroplankton didn't make me type this much.
UUmmm [see what I did there], I don't know which people you are talking about, brandonbwii. From what I've seen, everyone here respects nnooo. Anyways, I'll probably get this, though I don't know how much I'll actually use it.
@slapshot I won't say Nintendo's been outdone until the sales charts start rolling in. Fans are screaming for Wii HD, not PS3 move, and I'm not too sure that Sony's fanbase is going to like this.
@nintendoftw I see you decided to join Nlife. Just a tip: it's a smarter bunch overall here than it is over at DSihub , so you'd better think out your comments a little but more. Regarding Reggie, I really don't care if they release a new system. I'll start caring once I've bought the 60+ games I want to get.
Why are you talking to yourself, ATZF? That last comment was stupid. You can't really be biased against controls. If the game has bad controls, the game has bad controls. Also, you must not know much about James. EDIT: Ah, I see you fixed it.
Not really. Sure the controls are managable, but the original controls leagues better, you can boldly go out and do all sorts of risky maneuvers, that just often aren't worth trying with the DS as it's much more awkward to perform precisely.
The graphics mean little, and the added content is nice, but it's saturation. The extra content isn't up to the standards of the regular content, it's kind of nice that it's there, but it's nothing major as it's a bit of a step down from the core game anyways.
You also have to consider that some people can use the controls on the DS version better. However, I just thought of something very important. SM64 on the VC costs $10. The DS version costs $35 new.
@digiki well, for one reason, this version is portable. For someone who doesn't mind the controls, the DS version is completely better. Better graphics, more content, multiplayer, etc.
I never thought the controls were that bad. I actually liked them more than the N64 version. Great review anyways! Oh, and I applaud you for including a picture of a yoshi and a chain chomp. That was awesome.
@waltz-elf I'm not saying you're lying, but can you honestly tell me you would get as worked up over this if it wasn't a Gameloft game? You have a track record of hating on Gameloft games, so this wouldn't exactly be any different.
I'll have to keep an eye on this. I liked the look of it before there was any info, and I like it even more knowing there's download play. It worries me that it's a minigame compilation, but we'll have to see.

Oh my. THAT would be interesting.

Gaijin games and 5th Cell? Awesome! I can't wait!
Re: Review: Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door (GameCube)
Wait a second, this got a lower score than Paper Mario AND Super Paper Mario? Madness!

Oh boy oh boy oh boy!
Cave story and Game & Watch? I have chortles [of happiness]!
Re: Review: Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door (GameCube)
@jamieO If 90 hours is substantial, then what do you call my 526 hours of SSBB?
Re: Review: Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door (GameCube)
@sean007 This game is most definitely NOT dated.
@Pix exactly, but then again, 2 different people reviewed them.
Re: Review: Flashlight (DSiWare)
I don't need this. I naturally glow 5 different colors, and I can shoot flares from my ears.

Yes pleas. Teh Kid Icarus is nice. Kathxbai.
Re: Reggie: Nintendo Not Considering Successor to Wii Quite Yet
Who else here thinks it should be called either the Super Wii, or the Big Wii?
Re: Nintendo Not Considering Successor to Wii Quite Yet
Interesting. I'll have to read the review sometime.
Can't they do something groundbreaking and innovative ALONG with HD graphics?

@TwilightV that's what I was going to say, but then I re-read her comment slowly.

Re: Review: Globulos Party (DSiWare)
A 7 is considered "above average".
Re: Review: Globulos Party (DSiWare)
Even though the score was just as low, this was a better review than IGN's. They didn't even mention multiplayer over there.
Re: Nintendo Download: 8th March 2010 (North America)
How come Elemental Masters is missing from your summary?
Re: See the Latest myPostcards Video From Nnooo
I might buy this, just to support nnooo. Besides, it looks like it could be useful for vacations.
Re: First Impressions: Cave Story
@34 more like more money to escape from my slim wallet.
Re: Review: New Super Mario Bros. Wii (Wii)
@nintendogames1000 I suggest you take advantage of the "edit" option. 2 comments in a row isn't that bad, but 4 is a little over the top.
Re: First Impressions: Cave Story
I hope this will cost 1000 or less when it comes out. I doubt I would buy it for 1500.
Re: First Impressions: Bit.Trip RUNNER
Looks like another awesome Bit Trip. Can't wait to get it!

Re: DSiWare Enters Tie-Break with VT Tennis
Finally, a tennis game for DSiware. Hopefully it comes to NA.
Re: DSi XL Release Dates Announced
@chibilink umm, the regular DSi is NOT US$269. The regular DSi is US$169/$179 depending on where you get it.
Re: Nintendo Download: 26th February 2010 (Europe)
Congrats, Europe! You finally have all the electroplanktons!

Looks very promising. I can't wait!
Re: Review: Faceez (DSiWare)
@Swiket are you sure it was the ten-year-old? I don't think most 10 year olds know what feces are...
Re: Review: Aura-Aura Climber (DSiWare)
I might have to consider this instead of Flipper...
Re: GlobZ Announces Globulos Party for March
Interesting. I guess I'll just wait for the review.
Re: Mario Galaxy 2, Metroid: Other M Coming This Summer
Today's the US media summit, so hopefully we will get some more exact release dates!

You are missing out, Zezima.
Re: Review: Flipper (DSiWare)
I was sort of expecting a 7 based on the impressions. Great review! [though I still can't decide if I want to get it.]
