Maybe I'm just too easy, I can't say for sure. I know a lot of people were complaining about the new voice-overs, but I didn't find them too bad at all. In fact, my favorite game so far is the Pop Star one, which has lyrics in it.
I should also mention that I wasn't opposed to singing along with the Mona Pizza theme song.
That's exactly what I was afraid of with this game, it being too short. Not that other WW games aren't, but they have so many games that you can keep playing and not even notice.
Hmm, I was actually pretty bummed with this game. I loved Chibi-Robo on the Gamecube, but the DS version lacked the exploration/platforming bits that made that game great. It's still a decent DS game though.
I'm actually pretty excited for this game, which is unusual considering I haven't seen any footage yet. Nonetheless I think it's a safe bet that this has a download from me.
I can agree with that. And it's probably true that some games need to sell a million copy's to turn a profit, but certainly not all of them. That's why I figure this comment was taken out of context, it's an overly generalized statement.
I too can't see how this is a completely accurate statement. The development costs vary quite a bit between different games. You can't tell me that Petz Monkeyz cost the same in development as Super Smash Bros. Brawl.
I have a feeling this statement was either taken out of context, or just misunderstood.
I love the Advance Wars series, so I was considering giving this game a go. The original BW actually began as Advance Wars Under Fire, for those who remember.
There's something about the change to real-time combat that doesn't sit well though. I prefer my warfare to be turn-based. =)
Good review, but I disagree with your final opinion.
I actually thought the game played just fine, and I was able to be very accurate with my shots unless I didn't try at all. And when things did get too frantic, the new gameplay elements thrown in (like shields, deflectors, or spread shots) all came in handy to make things doable.
It's kind of unfortunate just how many Wiiware titles rank a 5 or below here. There is definitely some cream in the crop... But why should we have to wade through so much bad in order to get to it?
I believe LBP is coming to PSP,if I heard correctly. Anyway, I also do not particularly want a PSP. Like with all platforms, there are a few games on it that I'd want, but nothing worth paying for the platform itself.
I'm not really sure why people keep relating this to Loco Roco either. Just because they both feature round characters? I know it's not as widely known, but it reminds me most of Nifflas' other games like Knytt and Knytt stories. Hopefully it's as good as those two. Can't wait to download this game.
Why is everyone complaining about this? Honestly... Onslaught just came out in Europe, why should it be assumed that within the next couple days here? Especially since Evasive Space was confirmed for today awhile back.
Between the two, ES is much higher on my list of games I'm interested in.
I'm still uneasy about this one. The graphics seem like a mish-mash between 8-Bit and modern 2D... The two don't balance out together as well as one would hope.

Re: Starfy Finally Coming to North America!
A little late, but still good news.
Can't wait to pick it up =D
Re: Some WiiWare Developers Won't Get Paid
Quality control is good, but I can't see how this is the best way of going about it.
Maybe it is for Nintendo, but definitely not for developers.
Re: Review: Flower, Sun and Rain (DS)
I was pretty interested in this game.
Such a low score is a bit of a deterrent. I may still give it a shot though, depending on reception elsewhere.
Re: Review: Bubble Bobble Plus! (WiiWare)
I wish this had some Wi-Fi coop, but I guess one can't get everything one wants
Re: Steel Penny Games Update
Maybe instead of being bitter over the players and the critics they should focus on creating a better game next time. shrug
Re: Review: Arkanoid DS (DS)
I wonder how Nervous Brickdown is... It's similar to this, but developed by the people behind Big Bang Mini.
Good to know about this one though.
Re: Get Ready For Even More WarioWare!
I'm fairly certain this is DSiWare.
Re: Get Ready For Even More WarioWare!
This is the one I'm interested in. Can't wait.
Re: Review: Rhythm Heaven (DS)
@Bahamut
I'm afraid it's only a pen name. My first name is Brody though, not that it really matters.

In my head of course.
Re: Nintendo Download: DSiWare, Equilibrio & Uncharted Waters (US)
Well we pretty much got screwed on DSiware stuff, since we already had all of those games.
The lack of Majora's Mask isn't entirely surprising. I figured Nintendo would make us wait on that one.
Oh well. =P
Re: Review: Paper Plane (DSiWare)
Wow, wasn't expecting that score from this game! But good to know.
Re: Review: WarioWare: Snapped! (DSiWare)
@TheMole
Are you sure you're in a well enough lit room? I heard the conditions have to be just so to get it to work right.

Re: The End Of The World Starts In Europe
I envy you folks in Europe. Hopefully North America is soon to follow. =)
Re: Sega's "Project Ringo" revealed!
Yes, I drew it. It's part of this larger image: http://fc10.deviantart.com/fs42/i/2009/062/f/0/Olimar_on_a_leaf_by_Olimar91.jpg
And thanks =)
Re: Sega's "Project Ringo" revealed!
That's cool I guess. There are already a few Puyo games on the Virtual Console already, if I remember correctly.
Re: Review: Final Fantasy Fables: Chocobo's Dungeon (Wii)
I was extremely close to buying this near when it came out. For one reason or another I backed out.
Still, it seems like a good enough game to be worthy of a try. For the right price. =)

Re: Welcome to the New Look Nintendo Life!
Looks amazing.
Re: Review: Bonsai Barber (WiiWare)
Glad to see this wasn't such a bad deal afterall for you

Just a note, NYT corrected the statement: http://gonintendo.com/?p=77414
Re: Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Crystal Bearers site opens up
This game really has my attention. Could be the Wii's next killer app.

Re: Bonsai Barber Coming To WiiWare This Monday
Ehhhh... What is there to say about such a strange game?
Well, in the very least, I hope it turns out to be awesome.
Re: US DSiWare "Launch" Titles Confirmed
Moving Memo is definitely the one that has my interest. So it's great that it's free
Re: Preview: Rhythm Heaven
The demo is great. Definitely challenging, which is nice.
Can't wait for April 5th. Between this and a new DSi, it should be a pretty good day.
Re: The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks
Shadx, it's not all trains, the trailer shows very Phantom Hourglass esque dungeon gameplay.
I'm stocked for this game. I know alot will not welcome changes, but personally I think it's great. Bring it on Nintendo!
Re: Review: Henry Hatsworth in The Puzzling Adventure (DS)
Good review. This game sounds really good.
How long would you say the experience is start to finish?
Re: Review: Big Bang Mini (DS)

Again, good article.

Re: Night Game - New WiiWare Release From Nicalis
Wow, I've been waiting for that announcement awhile now. This is going to be an amazing asset to Wiiware, this developer is awesome.
Re: First Impressions: Mr. Driller World
Disappointing about no online, but for 800 points it seems worthwhile to me.
Re: USA WiiWare Update: Evasive Space
Why is everyone complaining about this? Honestly...
Onslaught just came out in Europe, why should it be assumed that within the next couple days here? Especially since Evasive Space was confirmed for today awhile back.

Re: Diatomic: Microscopic Arcade Action Madness
Could be good. I'll definitely keep an eye on this one
Re: USA VC Update: Life Force
Judging by that info Bass, I'd say Commodore 64 games are confirmed in the US...
A little disappointing for a "surprise" if you ask me... Ah well.
Re: Evasive Space - Best Evasive Skills Competition
Not much, but here's my entry:

Re: First Impressions: Bubble Bobble Plus!
I love how your impressions keep beginning with a confession of some sort.
Anyway, nice article. I'm looking forward to this one, especially since I held off on Bubble Bobble for NES. I need my Bubble Bobble fix
Re: First Impressions: Pole's Big Adventure
How can you hate platformers? ;__;
Anyway, this game looks crazy. I hope it gets localized, but I'm not optimistic.
Re: Hudson's Upcoming WiiWare Games Revealed
FPS with online multiplayer? Sounds promising :0
Re: Eduardo the Samurai Toaster - First Look Video
Awesome. Can't wait
Re: Bubble Bobble Plus Gets Rated for Western Release
I'm still uneasy about this one. The graphics seem like a mish-mash between 8-Bit and modern 2D... The two don't balance out together as well as one would hope.
But, that aside, it does look promising.
Re: Gaijin Games Interview - Bit.Trip Beat
I'm definitely interested. I'll wait for the reviews though.
Re: Semnat Studios Interview - Eduardo the Samurai Toaster
Can't wait to play this. =)
Re: Eduardo the Samurai Toaster
This just instantly landed on my Must-Buy list for Wiiware. Can't wait.
Re: Semnat Studios Announces Eduardo the Samurai Toaster
This looks awesome. I wish more developers would go for 2D visuals such as this instead of sub-par 3D graphics.
Can't wait to see more on this game.
Re: WiiWare World - Best of 2008
I own all of them. My list would be:
5- LostWinds
4- Dr. Mario
3- Mega Man 9
2- Toki Tori
1- World of Goo
