Re: Feature: What We Want to See in the November Nintendo Direct

Code Name: S.T.E.A.M and Monster Hunter 4U are my top 3DS games for next year, so I'd love some more info about release dates and how they are effected by the New 3DS. If the controls for Code Name: Steam move the gun movement to the c-stick, that pretty much sells me on a New 3DS.

And any Fire Emblem news is welcome. I really need to see how SMT x FE plays, is it SMT with Fire Emblem characters or FE with SMT characters. Hopefully it's an interesting combo of the two styles of gameplay.

Not getting one until after Xenoblade comes out and they confirm more exclusives. Otherwise I'd have no reason to upgrade. I've always played MH3U without the second circle pad so that doesn't matter. If it makes a huge difference in Code Name STEAM, then I might think about it sooner.

I like the regular model a little more because of the face plates, but I'd get an XL if there are some special edition ones like the MH4 one coming out in Japan.

Re: Nintendo UK Outlines September's Dazzling Zelda eShop Discounts

@Peach64 All 3 games you named were 3rd party games that basically are on sale after the first month. Bioshock is a year old, Ground Zeroes is a paid demo that never should have cost as much as it did in the first place, and Wolfenstein came out in May this year (at least in the US, if it came out later in EU I apologize lol) so that isn't surprising.

I've only had a WiiU for a month now so I can't say how sales on the eshop for it are, but 3rd Party on the 3DS eshop is similar. Atlus games are on sale for half off every 2-3 weeks, and we just had that sale on Capcom games for both 3DS and WiiU.

Re: Guild Quests Could Change the Way We Enjoy Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate

@Einherjar Maybe thats true, but it probably has more to do with the fact that in Japan (where it sells the most) handheld gaming is more popular and the 3DS has a larger install base.

Either way I'm glad, since we barely got this one. MH4 came out last September with no western release date, and if not for MH3U selling as well as it did I doubt we would have got MH4U as soon as we are. We got MH3U a year and a half after the Japanese release, and we are getting MH4U in what looks like 6 months (hopefully less) after the Japanese release.

@JellySplat Are you talking about a specific manga/anime or just generalizing?

and @PvtOttoBot pervy old dudes are a trope and are for jokes. Before DBZ became a serious fight manga it was mostly comedy in Dragon Ball were the whole master Roshi thing started (and he appears far less in DBZ because its less comedy focused), same goes for Jiraiya that part of his personality is just based on that trope.

Re: Guide: The Biggest Wii U and 3DS Retail Games Coming In 2014

I'm still hoping we will hear about Azure Striker Gunvolt soon. It has a Summer 2014 release and I hope there is an update on that soon.

Definitely getting Hyrule Warriors, Bayonetta 1+2 ,Smash 4 and Alpha Sapphire. Sonic Boom (3DS) and Watch Dogs I'm gonna wait for reviews of from multiple sites before I consider buying them. Captain Toad is just a wait on price point (though I'm still gonna consider if it's $60 as long as the Reviews are good).
