@victordamazio I would take Mario 64 over Super Mario 3D Land /World any day. Finished Mario 64 multiple times but cannot find it in me to put the time into finishing 3D Land. Its just boring as hell.
@Belatarr This 100%. Its easy to blame the left but at the end of the day they are the same exact party beneath the skin. Our system has gotten us here.
@JayJ but Jay, the misogyny! LMFAO. You nailed it originally, unchecked crime and basically handing out a free pass to looters with zero repercussions has got us here. But lets make this kotaku and pretend that someones little sausage is to blame for all this. TOXIC MASCULINITY!
@Kalmaro If his writing on games causes you issues, you need to re-evaluate your life. So i said f***, still not as bad as putting out the image that if someone disagrees with you they should lose their job. This attitude has gotten all too common. People especially younger individuals cannot handle when someone has a difference of opinion and often call for them to lose their jobs. This needs to end. Not everyone will see things the same. Not everyone has enough time to get disappointed over how 1 dude writes on a god damn pokemon game. A pokemon game! Holy hell. No wonder people cant handle life anymore.
@RazumikhinPG That really doesn't matter. All this talk over still over video games in general. Just because someone disagrees does not mean they should lose their job.
@Kalmaro That may be, that's kinda part of his job. Comes with the territory of journalism in any form. To get outraged over someones opinion of a f***ing childish video game though, ridiculous. Calling for them to lose their livelihood over it? insane. Thus grow up, there are real issues in life. This is complete b***s***.
Just purchased this and had some time to play last night. It is a pretty solid game, easily a 6. Giving it a 3 is ridiculous. Yeah its clearly a Mega Man ripoff and some sections do come down to trial and error. Hate to stomp your nostalgia glasses, but Mega Man did the same thing back in the day. I actually enjoy the change of adding passive regeneration to weapons and the optional checkpoints.
Mini idea without detachable controllers defeats the whole idea behind the Switch. I do not see this happening. Too many experiences are geared towards local multiplayer which is integrated into the very design of the Switch. So you buy a Mini and then have to carry extra controllers for every person that wants to hop in and play. I'm guessing the size of a Switch Mini + 1 extra controller would be about the dimensions of a standard Switch. If they are smart they will upgrade things life battery life, add proper voice chat, upgrade screen possibly. Make the current hardware more efficient if possible.
@NewAdvent I would love to say 100% they are but these comments of his scare me into thinking that is to logical, and they are going to continue with this bs.
Are the controller connections the same as the wii classic controller? it looks like the same connection on the console that is on the bottom of the wii motes.
love this game, but it is in definite need of an update. Roster size needs to increase for sure. I was hoping they would gradually expand upon the base game like what was done with Splatoon but that has yet to happen.
@Lylard Yeah this is nuts. The beta had its fair share of issues but even those are nothing compared to what the released app has been experiencing. I understand that there are probably an insane amount of people using/downloading the app at once but would that not be expected? Really infuriating when you actually make it to a far pokestop and the game stops working. Lol pointless exercise is not my thing. I'm american, if anything I need to gain weight to fit in here.
@Roam85 It does not work with the main series or share data in any way as of yet if that is what you mean.I doubt it will in future also. It is a stand alone experience . I am not sure what you mean by platinum coins but after playing beta and now the official release I do not see anything like that. If the gyro sensor or camera that you use for AR breaks you can simply switch to the virtual view which just places the pokemon in a virtual environment. No big deal there. I dont even use the AR honestly.
I have been heavily contemplating the purchase of hyrule warriors for wii u. Problem is I really dislike dynasty warriors games. Too repetitive and I get bored with them very easily. Is this game any different?
@ULTRA-64 Thats the correct attitude to have. I ignored all the "worst game everrrrr" reviews and figured I would judge devils third for myself. I ended up really enjoying the single player campaign and the multiplayer mode. Half the people that say it was terrible probably never even played it. I think its worth owning for the single player and also just for having something a bit different to mix up your nintendo collection.
@Madder128 I could not agree more. Picked it up on a whim and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Single player was fun and multiplayer was even better. Now i gotta get on tonight and make the most of it while I still can.
Awesome news. Love this game on PC. I wish it would get a physical release on Wii U though. Not a big fan of spending the money for a game without getting a physical copy. Even if the physical copy is useless. IE Titanfall. Still like having it.
Got in. Runs pretty good, many people are experiencing bugs with AR camera not working and crashing. But its a great foundation and could turn into something really fun. Gym battles are kind of ridiculous since you can use like 6 pokemon vs 1 gym pokemon so regardless of power level your gym pokemon is very likely to be taken down promptly. Unless no other players in your area.
