Sounds like they're duplicating MW unlock system, which is a good thing since it's awesome. As long MW's spawn system isn't copied along with it, cause that sucks.
@J D No, I think it's a great way to give people who didn't play the original a chance to play it now, that's reason enough for making npc's imo. If you think so otherwise, your just selfish.
@110percent Wow, I didn't notice that, but I will strongly disagree with that 8 that they gave it here. I'll admit the game is awesome the first hour you play it, but this is one of the most repetitive games out there so it won't be so awesome for long, uneless you really enjoy mindless button bashing that is.
Well, everyone their own opinion. But let me say this, play the demo before you buy it and know the full game will offer you that demo over and over again. I'll rate it a 6 since it isn't a bad game, but not really a fun game either.
That Pokemon game is sh*t btw, I don't know who told you guys it's one of the better Wiiware games, but I can easily disagree. Even as a pkmn fan I can say that without a doubt, this game gets way too boring way too soon.
It's pretty stupid on iTunes though, the prices of the 10 seconds music is the same as the real music clips... You can be stupid by buying the whole ost for 9 euro, or just buy the first 5 real songs for 5 euro. It's almost a scam for people who don't enough attention if you ask me.
If I had to buy all the games this gave 9's too, I'd be broke for a long time already. Seriously, if you guys keep giving high ratings like that, no one can tell which game is better than another. I know this is a great game, but I've seen enough flaws in the game that would give it a 8 instead of a 9.
Maybe you guys should change the rating system by making steps of 0.5 available(10,9.5,9,8.5,...). The number says a lot about a game, so make as clear as you can.
The controls are way better than the ps2 version. In the Wii version you can pull all the moves off with swift movements where in the ps2 version you have very slugish controls. The Wii controls are far superior than the ps2 controls, but if you didn't try to get used to them, you wouldn't know. At first the ps2 controls are better, but in the long run the Wii are way more preferable.
@Stuffgamer1: My straight lines only fail 1/20, so if you say you can't pull it off constantly, I just assume you fail since I can do it.
Well, apparently more people can't pull it off, so sorry for the personal attack. But I still think it's just a matter of getting used to it, not that the controls are crap.
People who can't draw in Okami are considered handicapted and should hate their lives, cause they fail at drawing a circle. A comparison between the two games is just stupid since in Scribblenauts the controls really fail and in Okami you just need to know how to do it, and find out how easy it is to constantly draw perfect shapes.
@The_Indigo_Effect: I never said you can't be a real gamer and still enjoy casual games, you have to figure out for yourself if your casual, real or both. I'm just saying that if you're just a real gamer you probably won't enjoy this game so much since the game lacks real goals, something real gamers game for. Btw, I am someone who enjoys casual games such as this, if you think it's obvious I don't, your just missing the point of my post. If your just someone who's offended by the terms real (or hardcore) and casual gamers, stop talking to me cause I find them useful and don't care for other opinions about them. If you have something else to say, please say so.
This game is not a game, it's a toy. You might like it, you might not. It's all about preferances. A real gamer will probably not like this game as much as more casual people will, the game is pretty shallow since your just typing random words to solve simple problems.
@Machu: Those effects aren't taken out because they wanted to fit it on 1 disk, they're taken out because they don't mix with the new controls. Those effects on the weapon were just cheap 2d-ish pictures, that worked on the gc because the gun didn't really move from it's position. Since you can move the gun all around on the Wii version, that 'effect' can't work on the Wii. If they wanted to put in these effects, they had to remake them from scratch and put them in after that, which would be absurd for a remake since it would never look the same.
Seriously, they removed some cheap effects you rarely notice and added the bloom effect, something you'll enjoy the whole game, that's a win situation imo. And I'm not even talking about the way better controls and better textures, if you trade Trilogy in for the gc-versions, you're just a fool.

Re: Review: Super Mario Sunshine (GameCube)
I see Sunshine more like a spin-off than a sequal to SM64. That said, it's still an awesome spin-off for that matter.
Re: First Conduit 2 Screens Indicate There Will Be Lots Of Explosions
GRENADE SPAM ALERT, lol jk.

Re: Suda51 Keen on Making Game With Nintendo
M-rated games under Nintendo lincence, HELL YEAH.
Re: Rising Star Confirms European Release of No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle
W00T.
Atleast this will really comes out here, I still don't have TvsC since no store sells it here.
Re: Sonic Playable in Super Mario Galaxy 2?
Sounds like a big fail to me, but if Sega has nothing to do with the production of the game, I don't really care.
But I don't think random rumours like this should be newsposts though, especially that twitter blueberry.
Re: Pokémon Lose the Slots From Their Heart and Soul
I hated the fact they took it out in Platinum, but minesweeper sounds a lot more fun than just pushing a button so I'm glad with this.
Re: Review: Geometry Wars Galaxies (DS)
Great game on the DS, always nice to kill some time with it when travelling.
Re: First Impressions: Rage of the Gladiator
This game looks like a bad B movie, I'd rather not play it even if the gameplay is good.
Re: Rumored Zelda Wii Details Spill Online
A good source so I'll believe it. Can't wait for some more time-travelling.
Re: Luigi's Mansion to Get Sequel?
In either case, I'll buy it.
@J D
No, I think it's a great way to give people who didn't play the original a chance to play it now, that's reason enough for making npc's imo. If you think so otherwise, your just selfish.
Re: Review: de Blob (Wii)
One of the best game when you want to chill and relax, I had great fun with it.
Re: MadWorld Director Interested In Stab At Sequel
Great game. Found it for €10 a few days ago and I'm still lovin' it.
Re: Feature: For Your Consideration - LostWinds: Winter of the Melodias
It was a good game, but GOTY? No.
Re: Mario Was Almost Called Mr Video
Good thing they gave him a real name instead of a nickname, normal names are more memorable imo.
Re: Review: C.O.P. The Recruit (DS)
This game is a waste, way too high rating, it's more a 5 or a 6 worth.
Re: Nintendo Blocking Third Party Releases On Virtual Console?
Well, it would be a understandable move so I don't know where all the fuss is all about.
Re: BIT.TRIP VOID Coming This Monday
I'm interested in this. I loved the first one, hated the second, not sure if I'll buy this one.
Re: myNotebook Boxes Video
I think this vid only shows how much this app fails...
Re: Review: Pokémon Rumble (WiiWare)
@Tate24 Definitely World of Goo, that game is a awesome experience while Pokemon Rumble brings you the demo over and over again.

Re: Prime Yourself for More Metroid
For all we know, it might be just another pinball game. Nonetheless, I'm excited for any Metroid game.
Re: Nintendo Download: Ninja Gaiden, My Zoo, Rock N' Roll Climber and Nintendo Touch Golf (EU)
No Uno DSi and no Excitebike. In other words fail...

juk...
Re: Rumour: New Mario In the Works?
Epic Mario?
Re: First Impressions: C.O.P. The Recruit
@taffy The only reason Chinatown Wars scored so high was because it has GTA in it's name. It was a good game, but not that good.
Re: Nintendo Super Guide Mode in NSMB Wii: The Details
Told you guys games would get harder because of this, I said it since the beginning.
I greatly approve higher difficulties in Ninty games, let's hope Galaxy has this system too.
Re: Did Nintendo Secretly Patch The Conduit?
Hm, maybe a good reason to pick the game up again.

Re: Features: Looking Back At BIT.TRIP BEAT, Pt. 1
Beat was great, Core not so. I'm looking forward to Void.
Re: Competitions: Metroid Prime Trilogy Wii Giveaway!
The EUonly- and USonly-contests were fine with me, but a uk only contest is way too specific imo.
Re: Bethesda To Publish Wii Racing Game
All we need is either Excitebots or a new F-Zero.
GET EXCITEBOTS TO EUROPE NINTENDO!!!
Re: Competitions: Flipnote Studio - Amazing Giveaway
My only entry, this thing took way more time I thought it would take.
(for some reason, I'm not able to draw a normal Mario...)
Re: Cyber-Squatter Uses PSPgo's Web Domain to Pimp DSi
It's gone.
Re: myNotebook Development Nearing Completion
Unless it's free, there is no point downloading this.
Re: Competitions: Flipnote Studio - Amazing Giveaway
Re: Nintendo Patents Inflatable Horseback Riding Peripheral
Apparently Nintendo really does want to get rid of all Ninty fans...
Unless there are adult games coming our way, in that case expect many sticky situations and unpleasant video's on youtube.
Re: Flipnote Studio Available This Friday
FINALLY.
WOOWOOTWOOT!
Re: Metroid Prime Trilogy
This is what you call an must-buy.
Re: Wii Gamers Called Up for Modern Warfare
This is going to be awesome, modern warfare was a brilliant game. I'll trade graphics in for better controls any day.
Re: High Voltage Working on Conduit Glitches
The brown background plagued me two days ago, but yesterday everything worked fine for hours. I hope they'll get the glitches out permanently.
