Re: Sonic Playable in Super Mario Galaxy 2?

MrPanic

Sounds like a big fail to me, but if Sega has nothing to do with the production of the game, I don't really care.

But I don't think random rumours like this should be newsposts though, especially that twitter blueberry.

Re: Luigi's Mansion to Get Sequel?

MrPanic

In either case, I'll buy it.

@J D
No, I think it's a great way to give people who didn't play the original a chance to play it now, that's reason enough for making npc's imo. If you think so otherwise, your just selfish.

Re: Nintendo Download: Pokémon, Shootanto, All Time Classics, Army Defender, myNotebook and UNO (EU)

MrPanic

@110percent Wow, I didn't notice that, but I will strongly disagree with that 8 that they gave it here. I'll admit the game is awesome the first hour you play it, but this is one of the most repetitive games out there so it won't be so awesome for long, uneless you really enjoy mindless button bashing that is.

Well, everyone their own opinion. But let me say this, play the demo before you buy it and know the full game will offer you that demo over and over again. I'll rate it a 6 since it isn't a bad game, but not really a fun game either.

Re: Review: A Boy and His Blob (Wii)

MrPanic

If I had to buy all the games this gave 9's too, I'd be broke for a long time already. Seriously, if you guys keep giving high ratings like that, no one can tell which game is better than another. I know this is a great game, but I've seen enough flaws in the game that would give it a 8 instead of a 9.

Maybe you guys should change the rating system by making steps of 0.5 available(10,9.5,9,8.5,...). The number says a lot about a game, so make as clear as you can.

Re: Review: Scribblenauts (DS)

MrPanic

The controls are way better than the ps2 version. In the Wii version you can pull all the moves off with swift movements where in the ps2 version you have very slugish controls. The Wii controls are far superior than the ps2 controls, but if you didn't try to get used to them, you wouldn't know. At first the ps2 controls are better, but in the long run the Wii are way more preferable.

Re: Review: Scribblenauts (DS)

MrPanic

@Stuffgamer1: My straight lines only fail 1/20, so if you say you can't pull it off constantly, I just assume you fail since I can do it.

Well, apparently more people can't pull it off, so sorry for the personal attack. But I still think it's just a matter of getting used to it, not that the controls are crap.

Re: Review: Scribblenauts (DS)

MrPanic

People who can't draw in Okami are considered handicapted and should hate their lives, cause they fail at drawing a circle. A comparison between the two games is just stupid since in Scribblenauts the controls really fail and in Okami you just need to know how to do it, and find out how easy it is to constantly draw perfect shapes.

@The_Indigo_Effect: I never said you can't be a real gamer and still enjoy casual games, you have to figure out for yourself if your casual, real or both. I'm just saying that if you're just a real gamer you probably won't enjoy this game so much since the game lacks real goals, something real gamers game for. Btw, I am someone who enjoys casual games such as this, if you think it's obvious I don't, your just missing the point of my post. If your just someone who's offended by the terms real (or hardcore) and casual gamers, stop talking to me cause I find them useful and don't care for other opinions about them. If you have something else to say, please say so.

Re: Review: Scribblenauts (DS)

MrPanic

This game is not a game, it's a toy. You might like it, you might not. It's all about preferances. A real gamer will probably not like this game as much as more casual people will, the game is pretty shallow since your just typing random words to solve simple problems.

Re: Metroid Prime Trilogy: Visually Worse Than Original Releases?

MrPanic

@Machu: Those effects aren't taken out because they wanted to fit it on 1 disk, they're taken out because they don't mix with the new controls. Those effects on the weapon were just cheap 2d-ish pictures, that worked on the gc because the gun didn't really move from it's position. Since you can move the gun all around on the Wii version, that 'effect' can't work on the Wii. If they wanted to put in these effects, they had to remake them from scratch and put them in after that, which would be absurd for a remake since it would never look the same.

Seriously, they removed some cheap effects you rarely notice and added the bloom effect, something you'll enjoy the whole game, that's a win situation imo. And I'm not even talking about the way better controls and better textures, if you trade Trilogy in for the gc-versions, you're just a fool.

MrPanic

My only entry, this thing took way more time I thought it would take.

(for some reason, I'm not able to draw a normal Mario...)
