@CharlieZee Difficulty isn't his issue, it's mature content. You can still play some amazing games on the lowest difficulty setting, a lot of games now come with a range of accessibility settings which is fantastic for people who struggle to play games. Anti only plays games aimed at preschoolers and loves to bash us over the head with this fact!
I have played Fortnite with my nephews and didn't have a clue what was going on. Not really into the online games.
Great car crash t.v. I'd prefer real people as contestants but unfortunately the influencers (uh Shudder) are everywhere from strictly to the wheel. They got the look of the show right and have another British icon to replace the former GM and a weedgie as the host so 👍 for that I guess!
As a new Switch owner I'll definitely be buying all the first party hits. Having a great time with Mario Odyssey it honestly feels like I picked up where I left off with Mario 64.
Loving Ori and the Blind forest as well but I might need another Switch to play them on as my wife loves Animal Crossing so much, Thankfully I can play my PS5 when she's on that !
@Edwirichuu Yes I know what you mean, but with all the people I know who have series X or PS5 are all playing FIFA and here's me struggling to decide what's next in the backlog to play.
@oconnoclast that's pretty much the extent of my knowledge on FIFA and the games. Not a football fan but it breaks my heart seeing my nephews only play FIFA and Fortnite rather than the expansive library and different genres their uncle plays, I'll give anything a shot but yearly sports games are just utterly dull.
@Ironcore I've just got one and haven't owned a Nintendo machine since the Wii, looking forward to playing all the exclusives. It's a lovely companion piece to my PS5 and my wife can play it whilst I'm on PS5 😃
@CactusMan I'll be sure to get Mario Kart at some point but my Oled is arriving tomorrow alongside the Ori collection. Last time I played a Mario Kart was on the Wii. Looking forward to playing on a Nintendo machine even if my first games are Xbox ones 😂. It's a step closer to having all systems.
I played one recently and the controller felt awful to hold. Goldeneye had tank controls, Still a great machine for it's time, Ocarina of Time and pretty much every Rare game were my favourites.
Still waiting for them to revive all those characters on Xbox and I'd love a switch but Nintendo really need to come up with some exciting new IP for me to bite!
@Joe-b You are right about Nintendo putting out polished products but Sony's first party games from my experience also are polished and you can guarantee that you'll get them for about £15-£20 later on if you skip them at launch. Kojima Productions have done a stellar job with Death Stranding on PS4, 40 hours in and it runs beautifully!
I would love a switch but not at it's current price, with a PS4 with about 200 games i'd struggle to find more free time. It also irks me that nintendo's first party games are still full price years after debuting!
Loved the N64 back in the day, still consider Ocarina of Time one of my top games ever, that Rare magic as well, i loved Jet Force Gemini especially! Would be great nostalgia to play these again but at the same time i'd rather play something different and new.

Re: Here's Your First Look At The Switch Box Art For Kirby And The Forgotten Land
@MichaelP the box art, you could put Ellie or 2B on that cover no problem. It shares a similar looking world!
Re: Here's Your First Look At The Switch Box Art For Kirby And The Forgotten Land
@Max_the_German maybe the LoU comparison is because there will be a grounded difficulty and you can eat dogs 😂
Re: Here's Your First Look At The Switch Box Art For Kirby And The Forgotten Land
The box art sure does give LoU2 and Automata vibes. I'm sure it will be a fine game but those two are some of my favourites I've ever played.
Never really understood the fuss about Kirby but he was fun to play as in Super Smash Bros on the N64.
If it's a great platform game though I'm all for it, love how they've had a resurgence in recent years!
Re: Round Up: Here's What The Critics Think Of Nintendo Switch OLED
Looking forward to diving back into the world of Nintendo when this arrives next week.
It'll be my first Nintendo machine since the Wii and it will look fantastic sitting underneath my PS5!
