It's basically League of Legends but designed for consoles. It's even owned by the same company who owns League of Legends. It should be good since I enjoyed League of Legends way too much a few years ago.
I bought the Bayo 2 port at full price. DKCTF looks to be worth it for first timers. A good game is worth whatever price you're willing to pay for it. Ignore the haters and make your own decision.
Firstly, I want to say that piracy has not been shown to substantially affect sales. It's a common myth but there's an EU study that has shown otherwise.
Secondly, this is actually positive news for Nintendo. The Switch is basically a tablet with a Tegra X1 chip. This is going to be a dream gaming device for people once the floodgate of software is opened. Demand for the Switch will be sky high by next year once hacking becomes mature.
The only feature I want is save backup. If Nintendo can't get this basic feature implemented, it's hacking time for me. It's criminal that our saves are being held prisoner to a single device. Yea I know there's a save transfer feature but that's practically useless if my Switch dies.
I hope this will spur Nintendo to add more features to the Switch to deter hacking. I am becoming more tempted to hack my Switch with each passing day without substantial features like save backup.
@MegaTen
I'm not defending 30 fps but you're being flippant to disregard an entire game because of it when first impressions are GREAT. Was the game targeted at 60 fps for other platforms? Yes. Can it be beaten comfortably at 30 fps? I'd bet my money on it. It's after all a console single player game not a twitch shooter like Counter Strike.
@MegaTen Original Doom ran at 30 fps and is much faster. Saying a modern game is unplayable at 30fps completely disregards how easier they are compared to older games.

Re: Video: Here's Almost An Hour Of SNK Heroines: Tag Team Frenzy Footage
Will there be a titillating gallery mode?
Re: Nintendo Boasts Of Continued Third Party Support For Switch
Lame clickbait. Came in expecting RDR for the Switch. Just wishful thinking.
Re: Bayonetta and Bayonetta 2 Are Arriving on Switch in February
Finally. I never got to buy these games.
Re: Review: RiME (Switch)
I expect the inevitable performance patch later on that many Switch ports get. I'll wait until then.
Re: Don't Hold Your Breath For Monster Hunter: World On Switch
Capcom just needs to translate XX and every Switch owner will be happy.
Re: RiME Takes Up More Space On Switch Than On Xbox One And PlayStation 4
Likely what @ballistic90 said. Compression hurts performance and the Switch is the scrappy console.
Re: Digital Foundry Explores the Framerate and a Resolution Boost in Super Mario Odyssey
60 FPS is exactly what I wanted.

Re: First Impressions: Hell in a Handbasket - DOOM on Nintendo Switch
30 fps is not a problem for me. I've played games like Turok and Goldeneye at 00 Agent (to unlock cheats) at worse framerates.
Re: Resident Evil Revelations 1 & 2 Are Coming To Switch Later This Year
$40 for two seems fair as I've never played either of those games. They seem decent.
