I would love it if came on Wii U! After all, it would work well, and there exclusiveness with Microsoft for console releases has ended, (they're bringing it to PS3 & 4 now) hopefully there will be announcements in the near future

@Psychomalone ,yeah, I just noticed that now XD... also where the brightness settings are on the 3DS HOME menu (I still don't know why they like to capitalize HOME...) , theres a settings icon! Perhaps they are making Settings a multitasking app! Please come to 3DS...?? The cameras still confuse me...

I'm actually starting to like the design now, but just three questions:

How does sleep mode work? If theres no sleep mode, theres no play coins for AR games, StreetPass Mii Plaza and other games...?

I wonder if StreetPass actually works... if it was me, I wouldn't carry it around with the screens on in my pocket... Perhaps when you press the power button, a menu comes up like the 3DS originally did, saying 'Enter Sleep Mode' and 'Power off'...?

EDIT: I found out it has a sleep mode slider thing on the bottom right of the 2DS.

I wonder why it has two cameras on the back of it...? (look at pictures from Nintendo's website)...

Well I'm happy. Hopefully if something like this for Wii U emerges, then it will be blocked like this. Well done Nintendo!

at 1:17 it reminded me of Lego City Undercover; Cherry Tree Hills... I think this game will be awesome!!!

Nintendo CAN brick systems for using unofficial products, by using the system, you agree to Nintendo's T&Cs, which states using unofficial hardware can cause side effects, including bricking offending systems. People do not understand that Nintendo can fight back, and pirates aren't cool.

If it was supported, it would probably be for camera control, which is not needed in this game as the rooms are designed for only viewing at a certain angle and is fixed, and would be pointless. I don't see any other purpose it could have, and the game still works great, X and B are very easy to use for camera control...

Not relating to XSEED, but sometimes there are stupid localizations made by other companies (including Nintendo) like- Nintendo Letter Box-Swapnote, Pullblox-Pushmo, Luigis Mansion 2-Luigis Mansion: Dark moon etc. Pointless name changes, waste of money, and sometimes confuses customers thinking that they are different game.

One word- favoritism.

Perhaps a tablet that can be used with the Wii U AND seperatly or a phone... perhaps a Nintendo OS instead of Android/iOS. The next Wii or home video game system should use the tablet (which will be HD, Multitouch, possibly 3D Sterostopic, and have both inner and outer HD cameras) and the games console will be able to do 4K resolutions. The next DS will have much bigger screens, multitouch, second circle pad, much better camera resolutions, Wii U/Next Wii connectivity, Miiverse 2.0, better social network connectivity, video/party chat whilst playing games....... if only......

At least if it's delayed then they can have more of a chance to check for bugs, etc, but I also suppose if there was bugs they could just patch it...

I've bought 90% of my games from GAME, about 10% from Amazon. I think high street retailers still have a future yet.

I've seen much more misleading ads than that...

Luigi's Mansion!

There was a previous NL post some time ago about how Nintendo were determined to stop hackers on 3DS and Wii U, I hope they do something, we don't want it ending up like the Wii and DS did...

I suppose this will be a good idea, as people who have hacked the Wii and DS have been able to make custom levels via third-party level designers, and I've seen some of them, and most of them do actually seem quite good, so if this were to become a feature in Mario, I'm sure we'll be seeing some pretty creative levels!! (I'm in no way telling you to hack your DS/Wii)

Meh, Nintendo will survive.

This is pretty pointless, people under 18 can still buy retail games from stores, and some hardcore gamers will actually stay up beyond 11pm, but I suppose it's a start...
