A similar sequel promise was seen in the NES game Snake Rattle And Roll. If I remember correctly it was to be called Snakes in Space. I never saw any sequel though... maybe it went Snakes on a Plane.
When will they release a stub Guitar Hero WiiWare game with zero tracks built in. Just the core gameplays. Letting me choose the songs in the download shop. So much crap on those discs, I´m not interested in a tenth of them. Also.. let us download songs from the discs released. Not as a full package but one and one so that I can pick out my goodies.
Quite funny and pretty well done but I have to disagree with Prosody, the real thing is way better. I also have seen them live. One of the best concerts I have been to.
Slowdown on known console hardware is not acceptable. By buying such crap you are telling devs that the quality is ok. I wish NintendoLife asked Sega why they release games apparently not yet ready.
Is it only me who thinks this looks like the worst game in the series? I like both Beat and Core, have not played Void yet. Will get it eventually, pretty slow eu release date for Void. As I soon will have half of the series I will probably get the second half too.
I´d rather see that developers upgraded their software more often instead of putting out completely new versions all the time. For an online game it would be super as the fanbase wouldn´t be put off to buy a new version, instead new users would arrive to the existing user base. Just think about the upcoming "updated" tetris game. How many Tetris Party owners do you think will upgrade to the next game (read buy a full new licence)? my guess is about 0.2%. And if developers instead provided some upgrade path? My guess somewhere well over half of the players would upgrade, leading to an ever growing number of happy online players.
All games should have this feature, and it should be the distibutors/importers responsibility to supply language packs either as dlc packs through wii shop channel or on their native webpage. No language pack should equal less money from sales of game. Wii more or less being a family console and I can count the games in Swedish on my fingers. Unbelievable.
Whata loser, if he wants to sell games maybe he should put up his own sustained television advertisement campaign. I have never seen a mature games ad on tv on "adult" time. If they want to sell mature games.. don´t send ads on nickelodeon. CEO!.. Ha He should be happy Nintendo don´t put out mature games. the competition from Nintendo would be too hard for Sega to swallow.
Ordered my copy the 10th December. Got the package the 7th January with the wrong game inside. Got need for speed shift for xbox360 instead. Now it seem they want me to pay for the returning costs. Me very impressed. If I don´t hear from them before Tuesday I will let you know wich store to avoid.
Why is this news tagged with dissapointment? You could also ask if the person inside the hospital referred to as the source, is the right person for the job. Me thinks not.
They have approved quite a pile of crap. Makes no sense blocking a game, especially not a mk clone. Most would choose the mk game as first priority and those who would not, would probably get both.
"only minor, intermittent slowdown when the screen is swamped with enemies and projectiles"
I think it lags seriously, There is not many fights without it. My kid like it though. I like the surroundings in the game, makes me want a "Link to the Past" sequel. Would look awesome, hopefully without lag. Last... why doesn´t pokemonrumble.com work in the wii internet channel?
Get the "real" thing on ebay for under 10$. Digital Leisure has released Dragons Lair and Space Ace and some more as playable dvd:s. Working just as the real Laserdisc originals. Video just transfered to dvd instead. Can´t imagine Dragons Lair be any good as a dsiware port. Get the dvd if you like Dragons Lair.
Why oh why can´t the devs put language packs as dlc?? Just ship the game with game international language = english. Then add language packs as they are produced. Soo easy...
I think it´s pretty lame and very lazy of the devs not to incorporate a "Would you like to copy the data from your old save files to Trilogy". Heck.. it should also be able to copy over data from GameCube save files as well. What´s the problem. Laame.
The point isn´t if or if not you are held back by the bug. The point is it´s there and big N wont allow the developers to update the game without (as it seem) a lot of hassle. US buyers have bought something broken and the sad part is many of you don´t seem to care. Kudos to bit trip developers to have the gamesavefix. It´s an ugly fix but it works. Some other devs don´t giva a.... What I don´t understand is... what´s is the problem in updating the game properly.
So curious what it is that is so complicated. You have made the correction to the code. Is it Nintendo holding you back? Correct me if I´m wrong... You only want to replace the faulty downloadable file with a corrected one. Users will have to redownload the full thing to "update". Maybe it´s called a patch but a patch to me is something that you run on the client to update faulty files. I might be wrong about that. What is the real problem in updating downloadable games on Wii. Nintendo can... seen it multiple times.
Truly a great game. I just ordered the real thing too. Compared to the WiiWare version the real thing was very expensive. In points almost 3000 and that is without the expansion pack wich is included in the WiiWare version.
I rather see nnooo release an updated version to ww. With better multiplayer and scoring bugfix. Have seen games getting patched more than once. example Super Mario World and dr. Mario. So it´s definitly doable.
@BigLord: I´m not very fond of it but I´d like there to be more games supporting it, and I thought that an FPS such as Onslaught would be good for it. They could at least have a control scheme for it, or let me have the buttons as I choose, then I could make my own scheme for it. I would probably fall back on the deafult one anyway, without the zapper:-)
