Re: Sega to Abandon Mature Wii Audience?

Machu

Machu heads back to the Ishimura with Plasma Cutter in hand.

I'm gonna put a Necromorph in stasis, pretend its Constantine Hantzopulos, then cut its arms and legs off. This game, rocks!

Re: Review: Starship Patrol (DSiWare)

Machu

Might wanna change that header image dude, it's got Star Trek written all over it.

I am one disappointed nerd.

feel free to delete this comment when you have done so

Re: Review: Hell's Kitchen VS (DSiWare)

Machu

How dare you badmouth Cookin' Mama. She rocks!!!

The only person to blame for this is that silly person Ramsay, ug!

woah, edited, was that too much? i though it was relevant tbqh ;P

Re: See Aragorn's Quest In Motion

Machu

I haven't given up on this just yet, but oh how I wish they had treated my beautiful books to a game they deserve.

I can only hope that the obligatory Hobbit movie tie-in, will be aimed at a wider audience, and not just the keedz.

@JR: ching!

Re: Twilight Princess "Starting Point" for New Wii Zelda

Machu

@JayArr: I had magical times playing Zelda on launch, so honestly don't understand why everyone else took issue with it. :/
I'm worried if they try to 'fix' something that doesn't really need fixing, we'll all be here in 2012 saying "zomg the new zelda sucks, why did they change my beloved franchise, waaah!" D:

I didn't know you say 'ching' btw, it must be a cool-dude thing, cos I say it lots too. ;P I blame wayne's world

Re: Twilight Princess "Starting Point" for New Wii Zelda

Machu

JayArr clocks another 1st, ching!

I can't wait for some kind of solid info either, my triforce is starting to itch. :/ I might as well put this out there, I'm sorry if I offend, but... I liked TP. Yeah I know, I'm in the minority. Oh well...

Re: New Zelda Advert Takes Different Track

Machu

Well, while we're at it, here's Rik's Zelda ad, which was wonderfully cheesy also.

SEGA did indeed dominated the UK back then, which caused plenty of arguments when I was a kid. Nintendo v Sega. Atari ST vs Amiga. Wow, them where the days. <3

Personally, I never got the Sega thing, still don't. :/ sorry James

Re: New Zelda Advert Takes Different Track

Machu

It's definitely showing in the UK too, I saw it at some ridiculous hour the other night. Nearly fell off the sofa when I realised what it was. Fantastic ad!

btw, that silly sega ad is not the best ever, this is, of course. Rik Mayall ftw ;D

Re: Review: Planet 51 (Wii)

Machu

Hhm, I was considering getting this as a Crimbo present for a lil un. I need a game I can play with them, but more importantly, want to. I can't stand buggy games, especially when they are a present for someone. Arctic Tale springs to mind from last year, ouch. Anyway, I'm rambling. Cheers for the review.

Re: Rabbids Recall Retracted

Machu

OK, having played some more I take it back. Some naked guy who was hiding up a lamp post in town, said he was gonna get really p'd off if I didn't stop goin' 'bwaaah'. Definitely closer to 12 than 7.

Great game, lovin' it! .

Re: Rabbids Recall Retracted

Machu

This should be an 18 rated game!! I'm only a few levels in, but the image of a rabbid in a thong has already scarred me.

seriously tho', I haven't seen or heard anything so far, that warrants this kind of silliness.

Re: myNotebook Boxes Video

Machu

Well, I carry graph paper round with me all the time, you never know when you might fancy a game of boxes.

Looks like a nice app, but most people use their phones for quick notes. I'll download it if it's free, which it isn't.

Re: Aonuma: Prepare for Zelda Surprise Next Year

Machu

Agreed. Totally. A living breathing world like Termina would rock! But I'm not sure how open-ended it could be, unless they arm you with all items from the start, so as to negate the whole 'get this, to open that' system. I really like that system though, in Zelda & Prime. Nuff speculation from me, as it's all wrong anyway. Roll on E3 huh!!

Re: Aonuma: Prepare for Zelda Surprise Next Year

Machu

Aonuma wrote:

"So far, the basic flow of the Zelda games is you're exploring a field, you go to a dungeon, you conquer it and return to the field. We're looking at altering that traditional flow."

What the f***! That's what I LOVE about Zelda. No! No! No! Why do they have to change the structure? Why?

All you people above me wanting 'change', is this the kind of change you were hoping for? I doubt it. except adam, of course ;P

Re: Prime Yourself for More Metroid

Machu

I loved Metroid Hunters, but got tired of breaking my own hands whilst playing. Give us a full on Hunters for the Wii. Pure Deathmatch with dozens of arena's, characters and weapons. It could totally pwn. Please Retro, do it! It would be huuuuge!!!

Re: Miyamoto Unsure if Super Mario Galaxy 2 Will Include the Super Guide

Machu

I don't brag, I just feel a warm sense of satisfaction inside. I'm sorry if I came over all 'hardcore hates teh noobs, grrr', cos that aint me.

With a 3D Mario, it's all about experimentation and finding ways to do things outside the box. That's where it's starts getting fun for me. Having a path laid out for someone could remove a lot of skills gained from a bit of good old fashioned trial and error.

Re: Miyamoto Unsure if Super Mario Galaxy 2 Will Include the Super Guide

Machu

Yup, it's selfish, and I don't care. The game is already sufficiently handicapped in that you only need to collect 60/70% of the stars to stand a chance of seeing the end (if I had my way it would be 100%). I have no sympathy for those who struggle, it's a game, it's supposed to be challenging.

Fortunately though, Nintendo is more forgiving than I.
