I was 10 and been saving up for it all year and my parents would pay the difference and all of a sudden - it was delayed in Europe! My world shattered, didn’t know what to do. Ended up getting the PS1 that christmas instead and the rest is history.
Gex was one of my first PS1 games, i had never heard of it when i saw the cover in a video game store back in’96 but i thought i looked cool so i begged my parent and they bought it for me after hours, days, weeks of nagging - and i loved it!
@JaxonH Could you please upload pictures of the back with the lid open and the lid closed, also the front with the lid closed. When you’ve got the time for it of course.
I voted for the US version this week, by far the coolest. I can’t understand why us europeans never got ninjas?! I remember Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles was renamed Hero Turtles here. Ninjas are way cooler than heroes!
Ridiculously overpriced, can’t wait to see how much they’re be on eBay when/if they’re sold out! Thinking back, SNES games used to very expensive back in the days in Sweden as well, I remember seeing Worms and Donkey Kong Country for £80/$100 around ’95-96.
I chose the european because it’s clean and simple. The american looks like the regular version with a cheap ”DX” add-on and i don’t like the ”Secret Dungeon” sticker. The japanese looks silly, i don’t like the anime style.
I’m going with the Blood In Blood Out-ish NA cover this time. I remember seeing the cover in some videogame magazine or a mailorder catalogue and then ”Street Gangs” showed up in stores, I didn’t realize it was the same game until i took a look at the gameplay pictures on the back.

Re: Scratch That 8-Bit Itch With Panzer Paladin, Side-Scrolling Onto Switch This Month
This looks awesome!
@DreamStar @RupeeClock yeah it really sucks, not a fan of those limited game companies, maybe it’s because of the scalpers.

Re: Poll: Box Art Brawl #46 - Sonic The Hedgehog 3
I voted for EU version, the one I grew up with... later on in life I saw the US version online and I still think it’s hella ugly! Haha

Re: Retro And Legacy Editions Announced For Aladdin And The Lion King
@Tempestryke Cheap sodas and expensive bathroom visits - genius!
Re: Retro And Legacy Editions Announced For Aladdin And The Lion King
@Tempestryke True! I’m very surprised they DON’T charge for the bathrooms though...

Re: Poll: Box Art Brawl #12 - Castlevania III: Dracula's Curse
Went for NA, can’t understand why the EU cover didn’t have the silver cover like my other Konami (Palcom, Ultra etc) games got.

Re: Hand Cramps Won't Be A Problem With This New Switch Lite Grip Case
@gamer89 You should get the grips from Skull & Co for the regular Switch, check it out here: https://skullnco.com/collections/switch-gripcase/products/gripcase-only
It’s also available on Amazon.
Re: Square Enix Confirms Final Fantasy VIII Remastered Will Be A Digital-Only Release
@Quarth I’d like to see that but each game on different cartridges or all on one, i’d hate to see FFVII on cartridge and rest as download codes.
Re: Microsoft Has "No Plans" To Bring More First-Party Exclusives To Other Consoles
I’m just hoping that future Double Fine games will come to Switch some day. And of course Rare Replay
Re: Hotline Miami Collection Bludgeons Your Switch Into A Bloody Pulp Today
I’ve played through both of them on the PS4 when they arrived on there, maybe i’ll buy them for Switch and enjoy them in handheld mode.
