Looks good but I didn't understand the concept. Is it like coloumns only that you can manipulate the blocks horizontally as the video shows or is it enitrely different from what we usually see?
Glad everythings unified and both of the site's cast survived. Wouldn't be the same without them . The only thing I don't like is the fact I still can't use my hotmail account on here! .
Now I hope this ain't an April Fools prank but I doubt it since you guys are all here to enjoy this miraculous change!
FF1 on PS is harder. My brother went mad at me for saving it with no potions, everyone's HP near zero and roughly about 1000 steps away from the nearest town, but I managed to do it eventually (thanks to the memo saves).
As for this release, I am unsure whether to get this game after playing the PS remake of the game. I know the graphics don't really matter but the gameplay bored me just after I got to Mount Gulug (the name is also used in IX).
500 points sure is tempting though for a excellent RPG .
Does this mean that SEGA may eventually release SEGAsonic Arcade and (like Ferret75 suggested) Sonic the Fighters on the service?
Not that I'm bothered about the latter since it's already in the collection but the former would be interesting to see since the only way to play that game in the UK is to go to the SEGA building in London, and I doubt it'd still be there what with any fan playing it like there was no tomorrow .
Then again that ball rolling system could be easily implemented with the wiimote (if they make the effort.)
Wouldn't it be funny if we ever saw Mario Kart Arcade GP on the VCA?
Although Super Punch Out is a good boxing game for the SNES it's very unfair to people who'd rather have something else alongside it at the very least.
Whoa! One C64 game! That's harsh. I thought when you got three at the launch it was going to pick up what with the C64 library being huge! Here's hoping that you get at least a C64 release with something else next week.
I'd rather have paper based card purchases since I think the DVD cases were irrelevant (unless you wanted to give those away in DVDs you didn't want but with the massive "Wii" logo at the top).
It is unfair to have online transactions cheaper (although it has to be a credit card, which means more debt to some unfortunate souls).
I think they did this option because of the global recession. It makes sense doesn't it?
I'm glad they've done this option though, paying £7.50 for one game which I do want is alot better then paying £15 on one game and waiting for so long for another decent game to be released on the Shop Channel. I am trying to save up for something expensive so it's going to help anyway .
@Starwolf_UK: I just don't see why we have to suffer the price hike when everybody's currency is doing just as bad (not as bad as ours but still). It is a relief it's happened after roughly about half the population have one, first hand or second.
@ Starwolf_UK: I haven't seen a points card worth £12.99 yet. Where'd you buy yours? I normally see them at £14.99 at GAME, £14.67 in Gamestation and (used to) see them at £13.99 at Woolies.
Also that's true about already paying for tax when you purchase a card. If you could excude it it still wouldn't reduce the price alot more. Maybe like £12.45 or something.
@ Golgo: That's true. Everything is taxed here. Why did we even get the tax reduced anyway? We'll only pay it back when the economy picks up, like instead of the usual 17.5% it'll be 20%!
Anyway I know how you all feel. You can't evade it once it's online unfortunately.
In Manchester they wanted us to pay congestion charge but we got a vote whether we should or not, luckily for us most voted against it. It wasn't just about the charge, it was about the tax you pay depending on where you drove within the city.
@Bass - Although I love how the Genesis/Mega Drive library is growing, I would like the Master System (and Game Gear if it does add to the library eventually) to grow into a decent library close to the SNES's (There were definately a good number of good games on it other then the Sonic games )
I agree with you. I love Sonic 3 but S&K had a better layout and difficulty. What's taking so long for this to come out? Are they literally releasing every SMS/GG Sonic game before this one?
I'm interested in how this plays actually since I loved the original Kirby's Adventure on the VC (first time I pplayed it too). I hope the difficulty factor doesn't effect the gameplay though for me
The one game I've mastered on Hardest! I just love this game and with two player co-op it's fantastic! I don't know how SEGA ripped some of the characters from other beat em ups at the time and made it their own.
I used to love this game at a young age around my cousins but this has lost alot of magic for some reason. Maybe it's just too much like Mario (I hardly knew about Mario at the time since I only played on the Mega Drive).
This deserves a 9! I ain't a big fan of shooters but this has alot of appeal for non-shooter gamers like me . I'm stuck on Level 5 though but hopefully I'll get past it soon since it's not the hardest of games I've played. I just got it this week.

Re: Paper Plane
This was great on the WarioWare games

I hope it gets on Wiiware too anyway
Re: Art Style: CODE
Looks like a great game. (I love Maths)
Unfortunately I'm not interested in the DSi so I'll have to pass .

Re: Capcom Mum Regarding Virtual Console Arcade Plans
Would like to see Snow Bros

Re: Final Fantasy IV
Completed this one so I don't need to go back to it but it's a very good same reguarding that it's 18 years old .
With now three variations of this game which is best?
The original game is brilliant if you don't want to go through the slightly extended story of the GBA version and perhaps cheaper too?
Re: Japanese Virtual Console list - April 2009
@ Cipher - I'd like to see the Custom Robo series come too since they've pretty much told us that implementing the Expansion Pak is certain on the VC.
Glad to see both Majora's Mask and Phanasy Star confirmed for the VC. Now where's the other N64 games they are holding back?

Re: Namco Announces Upcoming Arcade Games
The possibilities are endless!
Re: Review: Detana!! Twinbee (TG-16)
The review says Opa as the character, you're sure that ain't Fantasy Zone?
Great review anyway.
Re: EU VC Update: Super Punch-Out!!
I can't believe we only got one game this week.
Although Super Punch Out is a good boxing game for the SNES it's very unfair to people who'd rather have something else alongside it at the very least.
Maybe the Hanabi Festival is next week?

Re: The OFLC Rates Even More Games
Three Master System games rated at once! Wow! Great news!
I wonder what the original Shinobi's like? I only played "Revenge of Shinobi" at an old friend's out when I was younger.
Can't wait for these!

It's great you guys got it! Been a year overdue.

Re: Fantasy Zone II
I liked the first one but something tells me the second one is more of the same
Re: Pulseman
I've actually been interested in this since Japan got it. A pre-Pokemon made game by GAME FREAK? Sounds interesting.
@roo Me too! I like most platformers (except Mega Man, something puts me off completing Mega man 2)

Re: Review: Sonic the Hedgehog 2 (MD)
It's a shame that nothing has matched Sonic 2 in terms of level length (not too short or long) but I still enjoy the other Sonic games from this era .
