@Banker-Style I agree. PS2 platformers are my childhood. Definetely reminds me of Rayman 3, Crash Bandicoot: Wrath of Cortex, Jak & Daxter, Pac-Man World 3 (nothing will beat world 2) and Ratchet & Clank.

@AugustusOxy Then you must be slow at it, or either you are abysmal at Sonic Lost World. You can always Infinite Spin Dash, and that works as if you're boosting.

...and was first announce Early 2012 (kinda). In June 2012, it was announced a new game was being developed by BigRedButton.

Hopefully, it comes out in U.S. first.

@Mooj738 Yes, it is, in fact running on CryEngine 3. Rhis game was in development for almost a year already, as a CryEngine 3 Tech Demo shown awhile ago had this game in it. It had "Developer: BigRedButton" and "in development". All it showed was some world hubs.

Oh yeah, and they all look three years older about. Sonic - 18, Tails - 11, Knuckles - 19, and Amy - 15? I'm also glad Amy stopped chasing around Sonic. It even stopped in my 2nd most favorite Sonic Game - Sonic Lost World. (yes amy was kinda chasing sonic around in generations. mostly in the picnic which happened at the beginning and end of the game.)

I'm glad you guys are enjoying Sonic Boom so far. Meanwhile, tssznews users are being nitpicky as heck. Whenever SEGA gives 'em what they want, they complain. SEGA will never satisfy them. Other than that, I really can't wait for this game. The fans complained for Open World and more than one Playable Character. They got it! We haven't had multiple playable characters since....ughh......Sonic 06.

@Memeboy3 I respectfully disagree with you. I think it'd be better CGI of the sort. Other than that, I've never seen anything from the movie before, so I got no right to judge it.

From my speculation, (JUST FAN SPECULATION, DOESN'T MEAN IT'S TRUE.) there could be a Nintendo Direct coming up REALLY soon, and this MIGHT just be announced throughout it. Also, more speculation. The Nintendo Direct might be the 6th as Masahiro Sakurai is coming back with SSB Pic of the Day on the 6th, and as usual, an SSB character gets announced in a Nintendo Direct. What i'm saying is that there's a chance of a Character TBA on the 6th if there is a direct.
