Re: Feature: 10 Facts You Should Know About Super Smash Bros. Ultimate DLC

Kaizen

My odd ball dream picks for Smash DLC:

1. Crono from Chrono Trigger. At least showed up on Nintendo systems twice, right?

2. Will never happen, but some real-life Nintendo rep like Miyamoto, Reggie, or Sakurai himself. I would so main Miyamoto.

3. The little fake Kraid from Super Metroid that gets taken out with one super missle.

Re: Super Smash Bros. Fans Are Harassing Masahiro Sakurai Over Waluigi Snub

@ClassSonicSatAm Dude. No one, no game dev or company, owes you or anybody else content in a game just because you ask for it. It would be nice if we all got what we wanted, but there is absolutely nothing "unfair" about the situation.

And given Sakurai's back-breaking work on the series, you can't be serious saying he isn't working to give fans what they want...

Re: The Virtual Console Isn't Coming To Switch, Nintendo Confirms

This is really a shame to me, mostly on the grounds that I can't quite "own" VC games the same way I did before. I'd rather be able to lay down cash for some games that I can always have regardless of an online service, the access to which won't disappear if I unsubscribe from the service. You can argue that paying that fee IS the way to own them, but it isn't the same as actually owning a singular product.

Re: ESA Attacks World Health Organisation's Decision To Classify Gaming Addiction As A Mental Disorder

@Sakura Thank you for pointing out the pharmaceutical side of this. My main disagreement in this is the fact that top psychologists in the field admit to the manufacturing of certain "disorders" in the International Classification of Diseases in order to promote the sale of more drugs. Those drugs are marketed and prescribed in the name of "healing" that disorder. Often, these drugs can actually exacerbate an ailment or create new ones.

In moving forward with mental health treatment, I think we can all agree that this practice should be routed out so we can better trust the solutions and explanations offered by organizations like WHO.

Re: New Nintendo 2DS XL Announced, Releases 28th July

Absolutely buying one of these.

For those who think this is a dumb idea, realize that I and likely many others have held out on buying a New 3DS XL because of price and ownership of the previous model. Now that there's a budget option with the same tech that makes amiibo usable and SNES games playable, I'm pleased as punch.
